On the hottest day of the year, I booked this room thinking that, of course, a Best Western would have working air conditioning. Ten minutes after booking, I walked to the check-in counter to double-check if the a/c was working and they said no. On the spot I asked for a cancellation/refund and without any empathy, I got a hard no. Literally 10 minutes after booking, instead of being a human they refused the cancellation and refund and told me to contact ******* to take care of it. So I called... and I went through at least 5 agents to request the refund that the hotel property told me to get via the ******* agent. These people are greedy. I book hotels via ******* for 10 months out of the year, and this is the first negative review I've had to leave.
Should the hotel decide to honor their word and give me a full refund, I will then retract my review.
