Vegreville Garden Inn

Although it was just a one night stay, the hotel and my room were clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast room was very sweet - nicely decorated and provided a good number of food options: oatmeal, yogurt, juices, bread & baked goods and fruit. The adjoining restaurant, Crave Appetite, served me the BEST homemade Tomato and bacon soup. All-in-all, it was a very positive experience. Thank you!

Slow checkin. Room was cold and thermostat didn't work. Bathroom trim falling off wall and tub caulking was gross. Bed was comfortable

would have been a better review but i left something in my hotel room and the staff say it was never found. which is unfortunate.

End of the life cycle for this old building. The Garden Inn has no garden! The groundskeeping is non existent. The exterior cracking on some of the wall stucco means there is some significant structural movement. The drainage hoses running off the flat roof areas may be trying to keep the water away from the grade beams. Inside, I had to get a screw driver from the front desk to tighten my bathroom door knob. The fan never did work. The hard water calcium deposits on the ceiling strapping are old. The boiler pipes expanding made a constant noise. The retrofit tub doesn’t quite fit the existing plumbing. The hodge-podge furniture in the room was awkward - chairs and table too low while your feet dangled from the bed if you sat there - and did not fit the room layout. My room cards deactivated twice - drop my stuff on the floor and off to the front desk. No one could explain why. No kleenex was provided in the room. The attached restaurant booths could use some new padded benches, preferably washable! If you listen over the boiler piping you could hear the pigeons cooing, somewhere…. The two gravel accesses in to the building have craters that would swallow your small car. Pretty sure the VLT’s keep this place going…

I only stayed for one night while in town for a wedding. The staff that I came across were all very friendly. Very quiet and comfortable! I ordered food from the restauarant attached and it was pretty good!

It was nice for a older hotel Only thing was no plug for drain in bathtub and bathtub would not drain properly Other than that … I would stay again … very reasonable

My stay was fine. The staff was very friendly. The Inn was maintained yet outdated. I stayed two nights but was away from area for much of the time, so very accomodating after hours and felt safe enough being alone.

The Halloween decor made my day The staff were fun and friendly

I'm certain there are plans to pave the driveway in the near future....
