Ulasan Madison Plaza Townsville

First time in Townsville, I arrived at midnight an hour after my checkin time and was so happy to find the hotel reception still up and waiting for my arrival. The service was epic. I requested an extension for two days and was given without delay. I will recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and friendly staff any day.

Tried to phone ******* to cancel until the following Week due to ill health. Phoned on Monday 14th to fit within the parameters of cancellation policy. Madison gave me reservation of **********. I tried Numerous times and was directed to ph no +86 21 60420924 booking. com (Shanghai) no knowledge of my booking. Told to phone trip advisor ph no +85 23 0083268 (hong kong) no knowledge of my reservation.Phoned Madison plaza Townsville to tell them that I had spent 1 and a half hours on the phone chasing a phantom company and to cancel my reservation. They informed me that I had to still pay regardless due to company regulations. ******* you are a no good company. I’m deleting you and the others from my apps. Will book direct with hotels in future. Trivago , what a laugh. Get your **** together. You can pay me the $434.00 that it has cost me. Have been staying with the Madison for over 30 years not regularly but always used them. Not any more. Facebook with this to inform others of my experience with Trivago, and others. Have a good day. We stayed for one night. Room was clean, shower was good, bed was alright. You get what you pay for

Air con leaked, we got new room. Otherwise ok, little noisy at mornings.

The hotel is conveniently located. The facilities are not really bad.

The room was great the service was good I would recommend to other friends to have a stay at Madison Plaza

All good , great location . You can walk around and nearby there is an information center .

We stayed in the same room on 2 occasions, a couple of days apart, so we have no knowledge of other rooms. This family suite was very dated and the chairs were very worn. The beds were comfortable enough and there was plenty of space. The location for the ferry to Magnetic Island was close and the city bus hub was very close. The staff on the desk were lovely but didn’t seem to know much about buses or airport transfers, which was a shame. Overall, it was a comfy enough place to stay while we waited to access the ferry and airport, but nothing more than that.

The room was considerably clean, 2 of total 4 lights were not working, room was dark and dimmed. Lisa did what she could do, replacing a floor lamp for us, which is appreciated. Night was a nightmare, drunk guests were trying to tap their card to get in our room every hour or two. People or talking and screaming LOUD at from 1-5am, you could clearly hear people walking by,I understand that's not the hotel's fault, but I'm sure there's a better alternative in town at this price range.

Very comfortable beds the room was very clean and hotel was in a great location and was great value for money

Rooms are dark dated and extremely run down Paint work looks dreadful peel off furniture ie dressing table Chairs in rooms are dirty with black over used areas The room was cleaned but the furnishings Lee the feel of cleanliness down Reception friendly Beds were comfortable As a family we were lucky it was just a one night stop over room’s depressing feel to rooms ..we didn’t pay much therefore get what we paid for I suppose Wouldn’t recommend needs a re-vamp
