Recanto Alvorada Eco Resort

The Recanto Alvorada in Brotas is an ideal family getaway, with activities for all ages and a fantastic setting for relaxation. The attentive staff provides entertainment for kids and teens alike—keeping your 16, 12, and 3-year-olds fully engaged with age-appropriate activities and fun. Plus, the food is exceptional, offering delicious meals that enhance the experience. The retreat combines natural beauty, family-friendly amenities, and great dining, creating a perfect setting for memorable family moments.

Animation is really good. They bring a lot of atmosphere and good vibes. The shows and activities at night are absolutely fun. All the visitors are part of the activities in a fun way. I was part of “the voice” and it was a fun thing to do. Also the aqua gym was really good(and even a good workout). Special thanks to Gaspar, Paçoca and Mexirica. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is beautiful, the food is a delicious, the infrastructure is giant, but, for sure, the employees and the recreationists are the best in the hotel. Always lively, polite and ready to help. We will come back as soon is possible! We have only one recommendation: the construction of a pet area where the animals can be loose, because there is a lot of available area inside the hotel.

This place is beautiful. The people there will take care of you and your family so you can enjoy this amazing place. The food is absolutily delicious and they have a group of entertainers like no other place. They take a special care with the kids and you will love them for sure.!

My family and I stayed at the Recanto Alvorada for my son’s 2nd birthday. We arrived from Sorocaba. The drive was nice. We had no problem getting there. The resort itself is great! We enjoyed the Chalet and the amenities that it provided. The grounds are immaculately kept and the meals were excellent. My son loved the play areas and he had fun with the staff and programming. They were all very kind and helpful. Unfortunately my kid was too young for some of the activities but I am glad he got a chance to experience different things. Insect management was by far the best i’ve seen, at least in the housing areas. I did not see or experience one mosquito bite! Every evening I would relax by the chalet and I never was bitten. As stated before, the dining area and the food were excellent! There was a nice variety and we never got tired of trying all of the entrees. Wanderlei was exceptionally helpful and always greeted us with a smile and recommendations. My son responded well to him. Wanderleigh also educated me about the local artesanal beer and fortunately I was able to try most of them! If you are able, get the “Kit de Brotus cerveja”. It’s worth it. Now, I wouldn’t hold this against the resort but there are some things that need to be improved: Firstly, The pool for children had areas where the concrete was chipped in disrepair and partially closed. A simple repair is all that is necessary. Secondly, on our second day, we did not receive any housekeeping service, despite having a placard on our door. We had to wait 4 hours before my wife managed to find someone to help us. Unfortunately, this person could not help us because she was the only one on shift that day.. The floor in our chalet needed cleaning (We have a 2 year old). So we had to walk around on dirty/muddy floors for our stay. It sounds like a staff management problem. Lastly, the air conditioning unit in our chalet dripped water on our bed from time to time, especially at night. At this price point, that’s unacceptable. Other than that, we enjoyed our time at the Eco resort. It was a good experience for me and my family. The staff and the activities were great. I didn’t get a chance to fish or paddle a canoe but maybe next time. Although I can’t give them my highest recommendation, I would say give it a go.

The resort is absolutely spectacular! We stayed during New Year's Eve - it was the perfect place to celebrate with the whole family. The New Year party with excellent food, entertainment and fireworks was just fantastic! The pool area, games and well maintained gardens surrounded by beautiful nature were just like on the pictures and we spent a lot of time enjoying these facilities. Highly recommended!
