Ulasan Museum Hotel

tl;dr: hotel put my safety at risk by letting a random stranger walk into my room at 2am, no safety lock I stayed at this hotel for a total of 5 nights and everything was fine for the first 4 (at least for my room, more on my mother’s room afterwards), the view was great (got a free upgrade) and the breakfast is exceptional. However, my final night was horrendous - at 2am I was woken up by a flashlight in my face and a random male stranger in my room staring at me. This was truly a traumatic experience as I was alone as a female. I thought I had put on the safety lock but after testing it the next day it does not work as long as the person has a key. After the sudden awakening I immediately phoned the receptionist, and this male receptionist had a horrible attitude and blamed the guest instead of admitting his own mistake. The next morning I asked the manager about what happened and only then I was told that the guest from the room next door forgot his key and simply asked the male receptionist for it, and mistakenly said my room number. Ok, of course this happens sometimes, but how on earth did reception give a random guy a key without checking the ID linked to the room ***?? Doesn’t make any sense and it is 100% the hotel’s fault. The hotel later compensated me with that night’s room stay and free transfer to the airport and a bottle of wine, but honestly, no amount of money can compensate for the fear I felt over my safety in a country that’s not really that safe to begin with. I woke up in cold sweat at least 4 times that night and could barely sleep before my 20 hour long flight. It was horrible and I do not recommend anyone staying at this hotel, unless they do something drastic to improve their management. Onto their facilities/amenities, my mother’s room’s bathroom light couldn’t be turned off, and the mechanic simply told her to twist the lightbulb herself to turn it off manually. ***?? The next morning we complained and they finally fixed it by installing a pulling mechanism to help her manually turn off the light. The same day when she used the hairdryer (provided by the hotel) the electricity cut off entirely in the bathroom. There were problems almost every night and we couldn’t be bothered to spend so much time on our vacation to fix this hotel’s issues.

Beds are really comfy, requested for a quiet room and got what I wanted. Friendly service and exceptional breakfast!!

Spacious hotel on a good location in Old Tbilisi area. Good king-size bed and perfect rain shower. Breakfast was excellent with a good mixture of continental and local food.

Apart from everything else, which was pretty good, big scocker was that museum suite with kitchen has no dishes, glasses, cutlery or cooking pans etc. why offer kitchen with all gadgets incl dish washer if you do not provide the essential items??? The kitchen is for show and not for use by residents I still do not understand this. Otherwise other toiletries etc were good. Breakfast was reasonable, but could be better. .

Beautiful hotel, conveniently located (pretty much close to the Old city, but in much quieter surroundings). The rooms have high ceilings and well equipped bathrooms. Breakfast is good and the service is attentive. Quite classy place

Great experience in this cozy and wonderful hotel. We liked everything starting from interesting building of the hotel itself, spacious room and very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast with live piano music or on the sunny terrace. We were very happy choosing this hotel, great location near by with bar/restaurants street as well as park zone and just 10 mins walking distance to Liberty square

The room is clean. The breakfast is rich. The location is very good. Across the road is the Dry Bridge Market, behind is Carrefour and a food street, and it takes 10 minutes to walk to the clock tower in the old town. There is also free parking at the door. But people in Tbilisi are generally a bit indifferent.

The old museum was renovated, very warm and clean, with good taste in details. The breakfast is simple, but with local characteristics. The waiters are very welcoming to Chinese people. Across the bridge is the famous flea market. It is a little far from the old town. It is convenient to take a taxi.

The hotel is in a good location, has a good breakfast and is cost-effective. There is a Carrefour and many food stores behind the hotel.

The hotel staff are all friendly and the building is unique! It was very convenient because there was parking right in front of the hotel (free). The location was also good because it was in the city center! Highly recommended!

A small but exquisite hotel in Tbilisi, with good facilities and accommodation, and most importantly, it is clean and soundproof. There is a large Carrefour supermarket nearby, and it is actually quite close to Freedom Square, within a 10-minute walk. We booked a room with breakfast included, and the breakfast variety was OK. The overall evaluation was good. The only nitpick was that the bathrooms in their country are semi-open, with only half of the glass, and water is easy to get out. In addition, there are not many parking spaces, so friends who want to drive should pay attention (I tried to park on the sidewalk for a short time and did not receive a ticket 😉)

Hotel in the center, everything is within walking distance. Breakfast is normal. There is a large balcony. Of the minuses, the smell of sewage in the bathroom !!!!!
