Ulasan Ah Shan Hostel

Just ok. Great area. I couldn't sleep when I stayed there 2 nights. The room upstairs children running all night.they stopped morning. I didn't mention to the hostel.

This is probably one of the better ones in Hong Kong given the price, quite value for money. However, the heater took a while to heat the water up and the toilet bowl couldn’t really flush very well, and there was always a weird smell from the toilet. The room is very small, only fit for one person to walk through. The window was opens to the common corridor so we never opened it, so it seemed like not having a window at all. There was also no boiler for water and you will have to take water from the counter. Overall it is a small and compact hostel located in an old building but decent enough and location is excellent, go here if you are on a budget and on a short trip!

GOOD LOCATION

Ah Shan Hostel is certainly a hidden treasure in the area. Despite the crappy building outside, the hostel is in a class of its own. The room was neat and tidy! The toilet was Super Clean! The staff and boss are nice & helpful. Free drinking water on the side. If you travel with 2 or 3 buddies, Ah Shan is your choice! Break the cost, it is much cheaper than staying at backpackers hostels. With a better environment. The location is quite convenient. Mong Kok MTR Station Exit B or D. Check-in counter is on the 14/F. If the door is closed, just PRESS THE DOOR BELL or call them. They all speak English and Cantonese well.

Excellent location in Mongkok area, very close to Mongkok MTR station (D, B). But only one Lift being used. Price is reasonable.

The room is small but clean, information desk people are accommodating, transportation is very close only in the lift, shop's restaurants are everywhere no need worry about food

Great service and excellent location. Taking a lift can be quite challenging during the peak hours, i.e. 8-9 a.m. and 6-7 p.m.

Facilities: It meets the description, and basically has everything you need. There is a water dispenser at the door, and you can pick up a hair dryer at the door. Hygiene: It's okay, mainly in the corridor, but it's understandable. Environment: There is a 711 across the street, and it's in a busy area in Mong Kok. There are also some places to visit around. Service: The front desk auntie can speak Mandarin, and there is a service lady who is also responsible for reception. Although she doesn't speak Mandarin, she can understand basic communication. I checked out very early in the morning, and I just put the door card in the small wooden box at their door. Overall, it's okay.

The accommodation environment in Hong Kong is similar, so I will not elaborate on it. Since the flight arrived late and I was not familiar with the buses in Hong Kong, I arrived at the hotel at 2 a.m., which affected the rest of the proprietress. I was very sorry. The proprietress was very polite. The hotel is in a very good location, right in the Mong Kok business district. It is recommended to friends who don’t mind a small room.

I have stayed here several times for short trips. It is very convenient to the subway. You can see it by going straight from Exit D2 of Mong Kok Station. There are too many choices for food. It is a good choice for traveling in Hong Kong! Located in the city, the street view is great.
