Ulasan Hotel Uzbekistan

This hotel is very centrally located with metro stations nearby although yandex (like uber) taxi is very cheap and convenient. Right outside the entrance is the big tourist bus which ride is 2 hours in the city. The hotel is quite aged and tired. I particularly don't like the brick mask surrounding the facade which blocks my views otherwise it would be wonderful views facing a park. The "mask" or frame outside the facade is very dirty aa you can see my pics posted. Room spacious, cleanliness inside acceptable, buffet breakfast ok, service so so. Room rate very affordable. Overall not that bad.

The heavyweight soviet luxury! The building is a great example of late Soviet modernist architecture. Old rooms, good breakfast, ideal location. A bit overpriced, but still worth checking out for the atmosphere and unique style.

Nice retro Soviet hotel near the beautiful subway system of Tashkent. Extremely kind, helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend.

Iconic building! The interior of the hotel is a little dated but that's part of the experience. If you're looking for modern luxury, go elsewhere; if you're looking to stay in one of the most fascinating buildings in Tashkent, this is it!

Incredible location - just a tired hotel! Good to rest and get out and explore but that’s about it.

The location was perfect, and all taxi drivers were familiar with the hotel. The rooms were spacious. The corridors had a strong stench of cigarettes. The breakfast area was crowded and I had to wait a few minutes before cups, glasses, and spoons were available. I was double-charged (now a refund has been initiated) without being informed (one by the hotel and one by this website), so when I found out I had to spend resources (time/taxi costs) to go back to the hotel to ask how the double-charge could be managed.

It's an old school historic hotel. While the room is large and clean, not being able to control the air conditioning is out of date these days.

i stayed there for 3 nights in June 2024, its location is perfect, metro exit just next to the hotel, in front is the famous Amir Temur Square, also it is the drop-on & drop-off tourist bus terminus, a tasty fast food shop next to the hotel. The hotel obviously a dated hotel in USSR style, but i like it, old style, dated grand decoration..., breakfast was very nice, pianist was there, i enjoyed my breakfasts everyday with music, so cool～

The hotel is in prime location and served a very good breakfast.

First of all, I don’t know where the positive ratings came from. -The hygiene is questionable as there’s foul smell oozing from the toilet which can’t flush properly. -no change of bed sheets when I checked in. I noticed that there’s some black dirts from the previous customer so I had to call the reception to change my bedsheets. Ewww -there’s dust everywhere in the room -the shower gel and hand wash would make you want to vomit as it looks dirt cheap -NO HOT WATER in the shower so I had cold shower every day when it’s 6 degrees outside -you just don’t wanna touch the things in the room as everything is falling apart I would avoid this hotel at all costs The only good thing about the hotel is their staff as they are friendly and helpful.

A highly recommended hotel with a good location and convenient travel. The hotel itself is also a Soviet-era building, very special and historical. Overall, it is a good place to stay in Tashkent.

Landmark no-frill hotel but unfortunately completely worn out. Rooms need a major renovatio. Staff is very friendly though. They gave me a lunchbox on the day of departure as I couldn't make it for breakfast. Good value for money but that's it.
