Super 8 by Wyndham Stephenville

The staff were all very nice and helpful. The condition of the room was fair. Breakfast is basically coffee. Didn’t use the pool. I’d definitely pay the extra $50 a night for better accommodations next time.

Property is sufficient for a last minute one night stay. Personnel were polite and courteous. Breakfast was merely cereal, oa**eal or small pastries. Beds were clean, but the rest of the room was either damaged, dirty, and unsafe.

First thing, went to wash my hands and the handle fell off the faucet. Left to pickup my daughter and came back to the room to hang out and relax. A couple of her friends stopped by and we ordered pizza and sat around and talked for hours. The entertainment of the night was who had the highest roach body count. They were all over the place. Mostly seemed to be coming from behind the headboards and photos. The nightstand drawer had some dead ones and a lot of droppings in it. The smoke detector was missing as well. The door and safety lock were broken. Beds were really bad. You can feel the springs through the sheets. Our room, 101, had a bonus room that was empty. No furniture or bed but lots of massive stains on the floor. I’ve stayed in some shady places before because I see hotels as just a place to lay your head, not a home. This one tops the list. This is the 3rd hotel out of the 6 I’ve stayed in there that had a huge roach problem. Most of the towns rooms are being used by construction workers so it’s slim pickings. I had 3 rooms booked for May graduation at this one that I’m now going to cancel. If you want a clean, bug free room in Stephevenville you will need to shell out $160-$210 a night or go to the next town over.

I was in town working and our project took longer than projected so we had to stay the night. We found the Super 8 and I’m thankful we did. We had the pleasure of meeting Olivia at the front desk and she was amazing. She is the definition of customer service. Our rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet. I will definitely stay at this hotel in the future

After registering & getting room card we went to our room As soon as we walked in their was a funny smell to the room & the carpet look dirty & gummy- no way would I walk on it without shoes on. Then my husband noticed a movement on the wall & he saw cockroaches moving on the bed. We went to the front desk to cancel our room & to get refund. As we spoke to the girl at the front desk their was another cockroach that ran across the desk & the clerk just took a rolled up newspaper & killed it like it was no big deal. Worse room ever!!!!

Even though it was not in the best of shape, no ice machine, no working in room wifi, the price was fare and the staff was very nice.

Customer service was great. Needs to be updated. Room was clean. We did see roaches and door key didn’t work a couple of times.

While the room was clean the carpets had stains, bathroom and shower faucets leaked. The shower curtain was to short and the floor flooded.

the toilet never flushed we had to go to the lobby to use the restroom. We called the front twice and let rhem Know. There was throw up in the stairwell
