We had the best stay at Elswhwere Hotel West Gate. The building is restored it the nicest way really gives you the feeling of timetravel. The people working in the hotel, were carrying and welcoming. They explained us how to navigate the city, helped us buy tickets for the city sights, recommend restaurants and we even got a room upgrade and lovely gifts to take home and remember our time in Pingyao. The bed was so comfortable and we had the best sleep. Can recommend this hotel full heartedly. Would definitely come back! Thank you Helen and Fenny for making our stay so memorable.

Pelayanannya sangat baik, dengan layanan mobil dan dua botol cuka sebelum pergi. Namun, sebaiknya jangan menginap di kota kuno ini jika hujan. Kami membawa anjing kecil, jadi prosesnya tidak terlalu merepotkan. Kami harus menyeret beberapa koper bolak-balik di tengah hujan. Meja resepsionis dan akomodasi terpisah puluhan meter, dan kami tetap basah kuyup. Kami memesan kamar dengan proyektor, tetapi proyeksinya biasa saja. Anda bisa memproyeksikan ponsel, tetapi sulit terhubung, tidak sebaik TV. Ada sedikit kebocoran di pintu, yang perlu segera diperbaiki. I must highly recommend this wonderful hotel in the historic centre of Pingyao. The hotel is really authentic, well equipped, the room was beautiful and I didn't miss anything during my stay. The owner is very nice and helpful, he was able to help me with everything. The front desk is guarded by a small, beautiful dog who gives you a proper greeting. Everything is a short walk from the hotel yet it is in a quiet area where you won't be disturbed. Not choosing this hotel for my stay would be a big mistake. Hotel je opravdu autentický, dobře vybavený, pokoj byl krásný a během pobytu mi nic nechybělo. Majitel je velmi milý a ochotný, se vším mi dokázal pomoci. Recepci hlídá malý, krásný pejsek, který vás náležitě přivítá. Vše je kousek od hotelu a přitom je v klidné oblasti, kde vás nebude nikdo rušit. Nevybrat si tento hotel pro svůj pobyt by byla velká chyba. Moc děkuji

the staff was friendly and the inn is very cute. the toilet was a bit dirty but nothing a good disposable toilet seat cover couldn't solve. wifi and AC heating are great. breakfast was amazing. the only complaint is that check out took longer than usual (staff wasn't present) and we weren't given any bottle of typical vinegar :/

自駕到古城，老闆娘給安排了古城牆下的停車場，20元一晚，客棧離西門停車場非常近，非常方便。客棧在古城步行街邊上，古典有特色，春節來院子裏大紅燈籠高高掛，十分喜慶，客棧十分適合旅拍，在客棧就能完成，期待旅拍的照片。老闆娘非常熱情❤️
