我們這次來平遙入住隅舍真是幸運無比，太正確的選擇！旅店離南門東門、文廟城隍廟都很近，走去南大街也就是幾分鐘路程，位置好、設備新不說，老闆還特別親切熱情❤️老闆給我們介紹了山西的醋文化，根據我們的行程給我們推薦了平遙的遊玩路線，還幫我們安排了去看晚間又見平遙演出跟燈光秀的接送，溫暖的關懷讓我們就像回到家了一樣，晚上我們逛街太晚回來還會收穫老闆的關心💕這次在平遙待的時間雖然短暫但非常愉快，住在隅舍是其中一大因素，強烈推薦！！ Staying at Yushe Guest House was hands down the best decision of our Pingyao trip! We felt so lucky to have found this gem. The location is unbeatable—super close to the South and East Gates, 文庙, and 城隍庙. It’s only a few minutes' walk to South Avenue! On top of that, the place has brand new facilities, and most importantly the owner is incredibly warm and welcoming. ❤️ He shared so much about Shanxi’s vinegar culture with us and gave us excellent local tips on how to plan our sightseeing. He even arranged rides for us to see the Pingyao show and the free light show. It honestly felt like a home away from home (he even checked in on us when we stayed out late exploring😭🫶🏻) Though our stay in Pingyao was brief, it was such a highlight of our trip, largely thanks to staying here. Highly, highly recommend! 🌟

這次在平遙古城住的這家山西老院院子非常有韻味，古色古香，房間也乾淨整潔。老闆人很熱情，幫我們提行李，還給了我們很多遊玩和美食的建議。位置很好，在古城裡麪，去各個景點都很方便。我們住的土炕房，既特別又舒適。強烈建議體驗一下在院子裏喝茶發呆的慢生活，這才是平遙古城的正確打開方式。

We stayed at thos lovely hotel. Lovingly restored by the current owner Mr Wang. He is the 6th generation owner of the property. Until 10 years ago it was a derelict and dilapidated building. He poured money, time, blood, sweat and tears to restore it And it does feel and look like a traditional house. You feel you are going back in time. Firstly the customer service is way beyond the call of duty. Its so good, i would recommend staying with mr Wang at whatever hotel he runs. He picked us at the Lower East Gate, and brought us to the hotel, then took nearly half an hour to explain in great detail where we need to visit, whether the sights be in the city or outside the city. Some of his suggestions, not on the tour books were very good . For example he suggested 3 restaurants, and we avoided them thinking he was getting a kickback.on our 4th and last day we tried restaurant no 2 of his. And it was good , the food and service were good. The prices were average with other restaurants and we got a 10% discount being the hotel's guests. And remember we had eaten 10 meals by the time we came to his suggestions. Another suggestion of Mr Wang was Ma family home - also a very good tip from him. Everytime we had a request or question he always responded with enthusiasm. On our last day we checked out at 4am and he still took us to the pick up point at that ungodly hour. Yep Mr and Mrs Wang's customer service is just first class. The room was large, queen deluxe double, and the furnishings were traditional chinese furniture made of Rosewood. Very Expensive furniture for a hotel room. Shower worked well and was hot. However be aware its chinese style wet floor system ie there is no shower curtain between the shower and a small part of the bathroom does get wet if youare not careful. MR Wang said it will be one his improvement on his priority list. Hopefully by the time you booked the problem will have been resolved The hotel is very close to the main streets. About 5 min walk. The city of pingyao is worth visiting, it is one of the very walled cities left in China, with its old buildings intact and people still living it. All the city walls are also intact. Magnificent at night.

The hotel is located in Pingyao's Old City, very close to the Ancient Government tourist landmark. I found the level of service outstanding. Even though there was a language barrier they were always eager to help. I liked the courtyard and in the room I felt like I was sleeping in one of the museums I visited in Pingyao. Additional perks include free laundry and free transport to the train station. As a drawback, the wifi connection didn't work well for me. To sum up excellent value for money.

Jarang punya waktu untuk pergi bersama istri dan anak-anak saya. Saya mencari banyak tempat di Ctrip, dan akhirnya jatuh cinta dengan yang satu ini. Penginapan ini terletak di kota kuno, sangat dekat dengan gerbang barat. Secara keseluruhan, halamannya cantik, antik, dan bagus untuk perjalanan dan makanan. sangat nyaman. Saya sangat suka meja, kursi, kursi geladak, burung, dan kura-kura di halaman. Bos dan pemiliknya sangat baik. The host were nice and friendly. They speak no English but they use and app for basic translations. The room is good value for money. Modern and clean, with good architectural finishes. They don't provide towels, shampoo and so. No air conditioner either, thou I asked for a fan and they gave it to me and it was perfect like that. Location wasn't so easy to find, the access road can be either dusty or muddy depending on the weather. It's about 15 minutes walk to the north gate of ancient Pingyao city wall. I would recommend specially to couples as it's the same price as for solo travellers. (I guess the price is per room) They didn't ask for a deposit as written in their policies, which is a plus.
