This was my first trip to Cambodia, and I was travelling solo. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe here, with the staff who were very accommodating and attentive to my needs. I combined my stay with a three-day tour of Siem Reap, which my guide went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of. I loved my stay at the Grand Bayon Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone, especially those who choose to travel solo.

I love this hotel, the staff are fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly placed as everything is in walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it is kept very clean and tidy. It also has a nice little restaurant and secluded pool

We stayed hear as part of a G Adventures tour, which committed to 3* accommodation. I would describe the hotel as more 2* than 3* plus points were the very friendly staff, the breakfasts and the cleanliness. Negatives included very tired rooms and bathrooms with inadequate furnishings and loud a/c which either blew a gale or was too hot.

Very poor, WiFi patchy at best, tiny pool - don’t be fooled by the web pictures. Staff completely unable to control noisy families in pool area. Breakfast very basic. Location not the best. Place has seen better days, plenty of better choices in Siem Reap. Avoid

Very good hotel located in a quite area so no noise, they serve good breakfast. The hotel is clean. We enjoyed the swimming pool. Staff speaks basic English. The main issue is lack of door closers so the noise from slamming doors can wake a dead body.

This hotel is located off the main street, at the end of a laneway - it isn't easy to find. The rooms are arranged as a courtyard around the pool, so there is limited privacy. Would recommend at least the second floor but would prefer third floor. Rooms are musty and bathroom is basic and damp. Our air conditioning didn't work and the slant of the bathroom floor meant water from the shower escaped and pooled in the middle of the room. The pool is lovely and appeared well kept. It is a walk to town (about 10 mins).

The staff was phenomenal. They went above and beyond for everything that was needed during the stay. The room was exceptionally clean. The building itself was spectacular. 10/10 would recommend to a friend, and I would absolutely stay there again.
