Hotel Bintang 5 Terbaik di Shangri-La

This hotel is located in the north part of Shangri-La, about 10 minutes drive from the old city of Shangri-La and within walking distance from the bus terminal. The hotel room was very cozy and clean. The breakfast was excellent, and included some tasty ******* breads. The only issue I had was that the hotel does not work with a travel agency. The hotel staff suggested that I go to the old city and find a travel agency there, which I did.

I stayed in the suite at this hotel. It was a great and very comfortable stay. Everything about the suite was elegant and built for comfort. The hotel has a restaurant that makes delicious Yunnan inspired dishes. The yak stew and the potato dishes were especially good. The staff was nice and friendly although language presented a barrier. (Thankfully there are translation apps.). The pool was a little weird though. It's presented more like a pond in the middle of the hotel rooms. There seems to be only one access point to the pool and there is zero seating. Its rimmed by plants and trees. Very strange. But thats the only criticism of the hotel. Everything else meets and exceeds expectations of a hotel. And its within walking distance of the old town.

Best-in-class hotel. Enjoyed a free upgrade to better room with a scenic view. We were also given late check out and a free ride to the train station. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. Our driver James Zhou is a young, friendly and helpful guy who shared tips on trekking.

Hotel Indigo is situated on the top of a hill, overseeing the ancient town. We enjoyed the very beautiful view and scenery from our room and the restaurant, where added-on one breakfast during our stay just to enjoy the view and ambience. The food options during breakfast were average with a mixture of international and local food. Rooms were very clean with daily housekeeping service. Buggy service is also available to bring you from the main lobby to the rooms. The only downside is the walk up the hill when returning to the hotel from the ancient town, as it can be quite tiring and made worst by the altitude. Would definitely recommend staying here during your time in Shangri-la!

It was really great. It was my first time to experience camping. It was really cold in Shangri-La Haba Snow Mountain in November, but it was really great to sit in the camp and look at the Haba Snow Mountain opposite. It was really nice to feel the tranquility and beauty. The B&B is in American camping style. There are about 10 campsites. The furniture styles inside are designed and arranged by the owner himself. It is very warm. If there are many people coming together, you can sing by the bonfire at night. The foot of the snow mountain is so beautiful. The owner and the proprietress of the B&B are very nice. They also raised a very well-behaved and enthusiastic German Shepherd. They can guard the house at night and ask for food when eating. Hahaha, there is also a coffee shop at the foot of the mountain, which is also super good. If the weather is good, three or two people will get together in the coffee shop at night to chat about life and look at the starry sky. It is beautiful. It happened to rain when I came to Haba Snow Mountain this time, so I didn’t see Haba Snow Mountain, but camping on rainy days has a different flavor. I always have to leave some regrets and look forward to the next wonderful encounter.

The front desk staff are very friendly n helpful. The hotel lobby has the feel of ******* culture , nice & grand . The hotel is located in the ancient town, convenient to walk around to shops n many restaurants . The hotel help us to get their day off Driver to drive us around (a half day trip )with reasonal price . The room is clean n comfortable. with fresh fruits provided too . During night time. (9pm) The staff served the milk to the room too.

Overall, this hotel is worth recommending. First of all, the hotel is in a prime location near Dukezong Ancient Town, which is convenient for sightseeing. It takes only a few dozen minutes to reach the high-speed rail station by car. Second, the hotel has a heating system, which is a blessing for people who are afraid of cold. It can also provide heaters and electric blankets, and the temperature is guaranteed. The room is also clean and tidy. Finally, the overall service of the hotel is also in place. Before arriving at the store, the guest's itinerary is confirmed, and the luggage is helped when checking in. The room is also decorated. You can feel that the hotel values ​​the guests.

Despite the lack of greenery or floral scenery, our stay at the antique independent “bungalow” was made special by the warm welcome and excellent service from the manager, staff, and especially our housekeeper, ZhangLei! He was consistently attentive and caring towards us throughout our stay. Zhanglei also went above and beyond by protecting us from potential scammers, demonstrating his commitment to our safety and comfort throughout our stay. The hotel faces Napa Sea and you see the vast grassland from your room. When it is summer time, the grassland becomes the “sea”, which should be nicer. The “hardware” of the hotel is very good, but what impressed me more is the “software” — service. Xiao He arranged free airport pick-up, and they came to pick my family of 5 up with 2 x 7-seater after I told them I had many pieces of luggage. They also prepared 2 canisters of oxygen in the car just in case we feel uncomfortable in the high altitude. During our stay, warm milk was provided at night and everyone was very friendly. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay for my family. Thank you!

Our stay at snow mountain ice spring was amazing! We only spent 2 nights here and our entire itinerary was well organised by Ba San who helped us view all the major Bala Gezong scenic areas. Our transportation to and from the hotel and Shangrila station was also organised by the hotel staff, leading to a very well planned stay. The accommodation itself is huge and very comfortable and cosy, and the breakfast provided was so grand. Complimentary tickets for some activities was also provided, making this booking so value for money. While this hotel may be pricier than others, it is definitely very worth it and in our opinion, the only option you should consider for the Bala Gezong area.
