Hotels in North Sichuan Road Commercial Area, Shanghai

The room is very good, clean and new. The room is as described. There is a laundry and the room is very spacious. We can leave our bags and hang our clothes. The staff is friendly, but there will be a deposit first and it will be returned on the check-out day. If anyone is hesitant, I would like you to try to stay here and you will like it. With a reasonable price, the room is big, you can walk to the metro. Downstairs there is a convenience store and there is a delicious restaurant nearby.

We stayed 2N at room 335 (10-12 May 2025). Room was spacious, clean and bright with 2 double beds for 3 of us. We slept well, beds were comfortable and air con, lightings all working fine. Quiet neighbourhood. Location was abt a 400-500m to Zhong Xing subway, A few convenient stores around the hotel where you can get drinks and snacks. A few small eateries within 150m.  We absolutely love the hotel, they have washers and dryers (including detergent) free for hotel guests and big fridge selling drinks and mostly important the counter staff are super friendly. They used their personal mobile phones to help order takeaways for me and ensured I’m informed when the delivery has arrived.  We have a comfortable stay at the hotel and I highly recommend this hotel. It is near to Shanghai railway station and famous Nanking road and within 10mins walk to a big shopping mall (大悦城). Special thanks to the housekeeping lady who cleaned our room daily.

Had a great stay at Sofitel, Aida was very professional and all the staff is friendly and responsive, the bedroom was very clean and well decorated, with great attention to details. It always feels special when you go to Sofitel. Great way to recharge batteries and have an extraordinary experience every once in awhile. Location: The hotel is conveniently located just 5-10mn drive to the Bund. The lobby also feels cozy and I love the French touch Will definitely come back soon! Merci!

Hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. Upon knowing that our room sink was leaking, they sent a service maintenance worker thowever as it was past operating hours, they switched rooms for us instead. Special shout out to 鲍鲍 who went the extra mile to assist us with the download of photos we had taken as we do not have Baidu account.

Koreans don't know much about China University Road, but this hotel has a perfect location and surrounding infrastructure. It's really better than any other hotel. The family room for 3 adults was spacious enough, and most importantly, the interior was modern and not carpeted, so it was really clean. There was an LG washing machine and dryer on the 2nd floor, so I used them well. The gym was a bit inconvenient because I had to pass the restaurant, but everything was good. The staff was friendly and they even delivered food to me. It's a bit far from the Seogahoe area, but it's near Subway Line 10 and the Waitan is a 20-minute taxi ride away. The room is exactly as pictured in the introduction, and the picture I uploaded is the view from the lobby on the 1st floor.

The hotel lobby is very grand, the decoration is very nice, the service is very meticulous, and every aspect is taken into consideration. The environment and sanitation are very good. The front desk staff is also very enthusiastic, the service is super good, the check-in is fast, the room has floor-to-ceiling windows, the breakfast is also very rich, and the stay is very comfortable. Very close to Chifeng Road subway station and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Zhongshan North 1st Road campus. Luggage storage is available at the front desk. There is also an ironing machine on the first floor. Takeaways are delivered by a delivery robot. It is very convenient👍

Despite the location not being in the most bustling area, the hotel itself was better than expected. Friendly staff, very comfortable room, and the breakfast was quite nice being a foreigner having Chinese breakfast. I was impressed that the hotel room had bath salts for the bathtub as well as a day time and night time body wash. It was nice seeing an ironing board but I was surprised there was no safe. All in all, I would recommend this hotel.

Nice place to stay when in shanghai.. it has smart toilet and inside washing machine but you need to make sure again if your room will get smart toilet. it’s also near metro station as well as shanghai train station. Rui who is the desk staff is very helpful because she arranged for my charger to be sent to Chongqing when i accidentaly left it when i checked out.

The hotel is new, modern and conveniently located near the Chifeng metro station. I love that they provide free laundry and given the price, I think it is a good deal. A minus point is that I can hear all the noise from the metro and vehicles outside even when I close the window but other than that I am fairly happy with my pick. Highly recommend
