Last minute booking cause we weren’t happy with the original hotel. No regrets at all! Should have stayed here from day 1 itself!
Hotel is at The Bund itself, with a great view as soon as you step outside. Room is spacious and clean with all the amenities, and more than enough water from the start. Service staff is great, they allowed us to extend our checkout time.
Hotel breakfast has a wide spread and the late night porridge was good.
Would recommend this hotel for anyone who visits Shanghai!

It was a great experience in Shanghai puyan hotel.
The hotel is really close from the nanjingdonglu train station, it's about 5 mins by walk.
And the view of hotel is heading the dongfangmingzhu tower!
Especially, the hotelier Shirley, she help us in the kindest manner!
She helped us to change to a new room with great view when we check in,
And at the end of stay, we lost something in our room, but she helped us to find the missing luggage!
Room condition also great! Scent, water, bedding, everything.
I recommend to visit in here!

In contrast to my previous stay at a nearby 5-star hotel, this hotel provided a much more enjoyable experience. The highlight was the fabulous view overlooking Nanjing Pedestrian Street, which was absolutely stunning. While both hotels had their merits, the view here definitely added to the overall positive experience. Overall, I had a good stay, and I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great location and beautiful views.

I would like to commend the hotel and the reception staff. This trip was with a large family, including elderly and children. When booking the room, we requested a non-smoking room. One of the rooms we received had a smoke smell. The hotel changed the room for us by upgrading it to a larger room.
The staff greeted us with smiles and took great care of us. Some staff members could speak English, which was quite impressive considering the price.
The hotel is located in a very convenient area, making it easy to travel to Nanjing Shopping Street and Raffle City Mall. There are also restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it very convenient.
Highly recommend for family and group of friend who need to spend time together in same room

Location was super excellent!! Hotel is located at Nanjing Road close to The Bund, shopping mall, restaurants and take around 5 mins walk to subway.
Staff was really helpful even though they can’t speak English. Our room is on the high floor without elevator access they carried our luggage to our room.
I booked the specific room type (queen bed with memory foam mattress) so, the mattress was very comfortable. The room quite clean and comes with the window. Bathroom is separate for shower room and toilet room.

The front desk was very helpful. They were welcoming and allowed me to check in early. I had some issues with my room due to a noisy sink, but the staff quickly switched me to a new room with no issues. The spaces were clean and the hotel is in a great location. Would stay again.

Super nice, super clean, super nice staff. Especially staff can speak English, which is rare in hotels in china. The receptionist welcomed us very enthusiastically. The famous places are close to the hotel, only 10-15 minutes to go. The room is very fragrant and cozy. I had a great experience here and will recommend it to my friends or will book again when coming to the next Shanghai trip

My first time at this hotel, it was near perfect. Clean, well situated in the North Bund area. The North Bund Raffles City shopping mall is just across the street too.
The staff is helpful, attentive though none I spoke to spoke English, but that's why translating APP were created 🤪 So no big issues there.
I'd say the walls are too thin, so it's noisy in the rooms in the 'middle' but all in all I'd stay here again.

Hotel is very near Yu Gardens and Cheng Huang Miao. The nearest train station is just about 10-15 mins walk, very convenient.
Housekeeper were very attentive and helped to clean our room everyday, spotless 👍🏻
Receptionists were friendly and always never fails to greet all the guest.
Definitely recommend this place for all fellow travellers 👍🏻

RReiseplanerThis hotel is a gem. The location is perfect (less than a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station and plenty of coffee and restaurant options in the area; count ~1.5h to and from PVG airport), the room and shared facilities (bonus point for the toilet paper that is better than many 4-star and 5-star hotels) are spotless clean, the bed is comfortable (different pillows are even provided), and the price/value ratio is almost unbeatable. There is even free tea and drinking water available.
Please note that having taken the upper bed window room, packing a bag can be a challenge compared to the lower bed one I imagine. Also, all usb ports available are USB A.
Few points can be improved: the windows let a flow of air coming in even if closed (the duvet is warm though), a little usb bed light would be useful (as it is not convenient to turn off the lights once in bed, have to do it before), the tv didn’t work in my case but that wasn’t an issue for me, the towels are disposable and normal towels would be a huge plus (pack a small towel should you want one), and lastly, whilst there’s no noise permeating in-between rooms, corridor movements can be easily heard (nothing that earplugs cannot solve).

RRokkenI had a generally good stay at Mia Hotel. Good service and staff. If you have chance to stay and your sleep is very light don’t get a room close to the elevator – the aisle is very narrow and you can hear easily people chatting when they get in and off. The place overall is a nice, the neighbour is great and you can’t find probably such a place like this one in the area.

During our recent one-night stay at the Novotel Shanghai Pudong Chuansha, my wife, our 7-year-old daughter, and I experienced both positive aspects and areas that could benefit from enhancement.
Buffet Options:
The breakfast buffet offered a satisfactory selection of dishes, including both local and international cuisines. While the variety was adequate, we felt that the quality and freshness of some items could be improved. Our daughter enjoyed the pastry section, though it lacked some of the diversity we’ve encountered in other hotels.
Amenities:
The hotel provides standard amenities suitable for families. Our room was clean and comfortable, featuring modern furnishings.
Service:
The front desk staff were courteous and efficient during check-in and check-out.
Location:
The hotel’s proximity to Shanghai Disneyland is a significant advantage for families planning to visit the park. However, we found that transportation options to other parts of the city were somewhat limited, making it less convenient for broader sightseeing.
Overall Experience:

However, there is room for improvement in areas such as amenity availability and service responsiveness. SSopheakimphinWhen it comes to accommodation the first thing I’ll check is about the negatives review of the host. But then I saw almost every hotels have a negative review! So I mean, no one is perfect right ! The next thing we do, we just go for the Pearl view one. My wife and I decided to stay in this hotel, man oh man, we’ve made the right choice. Everything is perfect. It worth the price so when you consider coming to China and looking for accommodation please check this place out! anyway thanks so much to Rosy, one of the receptionist who gave answers that’s helped a lot!
Ps: gotta try their breakfast and afternoon tea set!

Senz Hotel, from the moment you step into the lobby, you will feel at home. The lobby is modern and culturally rich, spacious and elegant, and the staff is very warm and thoughtful, and their professional and meticulous service attitude makes people admire. The accommodation environment here is spacious and quiet, which makes people completely relax and feel rare comfort and tranquility.
However, what impressed me most was the management team of Senz. They won our respect with excellent management and professional service. From the overall operation of the hotel to the details, whether it is room service, catering service or other needs, they can get a quick and satisfactory response. This efficient and energetic team ensured that every need of ours was met, bringing us an excellent accommodation experience.
Next is Estilo Restaurant. The food here is simply amazing! From the diversity and characteristics of the menu to the chef's superb cooking skills, to the delicious dishes, everything is amazing. Moreover, their service is first-rate, from pre-meal preparation to post-meal finishing, every link is well organized and meticulous. Whether it is a gathering with friends or a business banquet, Estilo Restaurant is an ideal choice. Special thanks to Mr. Noel and Charles for their hospitality.
As for Ivy at the Spa, her professional skills and friendly service are unforgettable. Her massage techniques are skillful and in place, which makes me feel extremely relaxed and relieved after a busy work. Ivy is extremely sensitive to the needs of each guest and can accurately provide the most appropriate SPA services. Her professional knowledge and enthusiastic service made my experience in the Spa reach the extreme.
Overall, Senz Hotel, Estilo Restaurant and the Spa have provided us with excellent service and experience. Whether it is the facilities, services or the professionalism of the management team, I am deeply satisfied. I highly recommend Senz Hotel and Estilo Restaurant to all friends who are looking for high-quality services and food, and I would also like to thank Ivy for the meticulous SPA service she provided us. GGinaWe booked a family suite and it was perfect for our overnight. Lots of space and so convenient to be at the airport for our early morning flight the next day. The hotel is right beside the check-in counters at Terminal 2 so it was quick and easy to check in for our flight. We had to check out before breakfast was served, but they packed take-away breakfast boxes for us which was very nice as nothing was open at the airport to buy breakfast that early.
Would definitely recommend and will stay again on future trips.

GGuest UserThe room was amazing with a stunning view. On the whole it was a fantastic stay but there were one or two issues- 1. The yoga mats in the gym were filthy. And 2. I was bothered on a few occasions by cleaners or people coming to knock on the door e.g.the cleaner came inside the room even though I said it was too late and I didn't want the room to be cleaned now. It was around 5pm and no one had cleaned the room during the day, but by that time I was ready to relax. There was a language barrier so she just came in and started replacing snacks and drinks and tried to start cleaning up in the bathroom and I had to ask her to leave. I noticed before I left that there was a button for 'do not disturb' but it wasn't obvious so it would be good for the staff to mention that when showing you to your room. I also think it's a good idea for them to have a book with information regarding the restaurant, gym, spa etc.etc. there's some info on the TV but it isn't very detailed.

Yuki's warm welcome, attentiveness, and willingness to assist with any request made a significant difference in my overall experience. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor ensured that I felt valued and well-cared for throughout my stay.
This is the third times I came to Shanghai. So far this is the Best Hotel and Location.

FFamPlanFirst of all 5 stars to Peng Ho (何鹏) service, very helpful and proactive, helped with us during check in and when leaving the hotel with 🧳 and getting our ride to the airport.
Also 5 stars for another lady helped with our check in, she let me viewed a few rooms as I wasn't exactly sure about my stay, she prepared a welcome fruit platter for us.
The hotel is quite wore off, l9bby seemed ok, but once in elevator, corridors all appeared wore off and not clean, then the room arranged for us is full of smell, moldy and smokes, the room we settled is not as smelly, but still found stains, dirt etc in the room, I have especially requested a well cleaned and dusted room before check in due to allergies. Since t was our last stop of a 2+ weeks vacation plus it's only one night so we didn't move, if it is at the beginning or staying longer, I would've moved hoteldue to the first impression of elevator /corridor and room,I was tired that didn't even take picture of the room, our room was facing some old neighborhood, no scenery at all, plus it's noisy in the morning around 6, noises from heavy machinery.
But location is quite convenient, walking distance to the Bund, took us about 20 minutes walk to reach the starting point of the Bund.
