Beautiful location, lots to do with children. Indoor and outdoor pool very good even with small children. Room itself clean, but the carpets could be cleaned/vacuumed better. General problem with carpets, maybe just remove carpets in the room...rather unhygienic especially with a crawling toddler. Service was good, very friendly, although sometimes a bit slow and you always had to make them aware yourself that you needed cutlery or napkins etc.

All in this stay is perfect, the room is bigger enough, the lights from windows, is clean, and the most important the price is very affordable for what you get which is too much better that expensive hotels around the comercial area of Shanghai which these are very expensive and finally not clean, no good and smell older. Thanks so much for this stay, I really enjoy and will be my first option when I come back to Shanghai

Service: I made an appointment with my friends to visit Disneyland. We landed at Pudong Airport in the early morning on the first day. The boss was very good. He came to pick us up in the middle of the night (the pick-up service is paid, but cheaper than online taxis!). He contacted us in advance to tell us the exact location. When we arrived at the parking lot, he told the boss where we were. He came super fast and got on the car right away. 😂 The next day, because we bought breakfast, we had to go out again at 6:30. The boss had two cars. One of them had just gone out to send off the previous group of guests. He was supposed to wait for us to come back before picking us up. But the boss was afraid that we would not be able to make it, so he asked the boss's wife to drive another car to send us. The journey was about 8 minutes. By the way, the egg pancakes made by the boss's wife were really delicious. 🤤 After a day of fun, the boss continued to contact us to pick us up and told us where to take the bus first. After getting off the bus for two stops, the boss's car was waiting at the station. It was very smooth! On the third day, because we were too tired from playing in Disneyland the day before, we didn't get up to eat breakfast in the morning. When we checked out at noon, the boss's wife was afraid that we would be hungry on the way, so she made some food for us to fill our stomachs. Then the boss sent us to the subway station, and we could go directly to the city center! 🤓 Environment: The B&Bs around Disney are actually small buildings. Among the small buildings, Yunzhi is very conspicuous and easy to find. The indoor environment can be seen in the pictures, without filters or PS. The room is very clean and has everything it should have. The boss will also send the instructions for using the facilities in the room in advance (such as the smart toilet Wi-Fi password, etc.), full-length mirror, makeup mirror, etc. These are very suitable for girls to live in. I was still chatting with my friends on the way home. The mattress of the B&B is not too soft or too hard, just right for sleeping. The two pillows can also be used according to their height requirements. Later, I specifically told the boss that some countertop storage space can be added in the room. The boss can refer to it~😜 I am a person who pays great attention to the aspect of ”living” when traveling. I am also quite picky. When staying in a B&B, mutual communication and mutual understanding between the store and the guests are very important. Yunzhi gives me a really good feeling. I will definitely stay in Yunzhi again next time I come! 🤭

Nice gateway far from Shanghai’s city life. Warm service, calm environment and clean bedroom and bathroom. There are no shops and restaurants nearby, but you can have diner there directly, the ayis cooking is pretty good! I recommend their garlic eggplant dish, they make it to chongming’s flavor! Their breakfast is pretty filling, I recommend to try their local specialty, chongming cake, it’s sweet and yummy!

I specially found this homestay near the river. The homestay is a flower homestay. I have also lived in it before traveling, which is more reliable. The room was clean and tidy, very quiet, the bed was soft and sleep soundly. According to the walking route map posted by the boss on WeChat, I walked south to the riverside. A very quiet place, you can also see a few young people riding. There are many greenery on the riverside, and occasionally I see a few people fishing. I like this environment so much!

The room is clean, the toilet has windows, and the ventilation is good. The boss and the proprietress are very kind, the service is meticulous and thoughtful, and the communication is very good. After I came, I knew that there was a private dish here. I must try it next time. The homestay is very suitable for young people. There are a variety of tea sets and tea, coffee, and the boss himself makes wine for sale. The breakfast is a very clean Chinese breakfast. It will not be boring to stay here for a long time. It is very pleasant to drink tea and chat in the tea house in the courtyard.

Quiet, there are parks nearby for walking, shopping malls for shopping, and umbrellas are provided when it rains. The breakfast provided by the hotel tastes good, the only bad thing is that the room door swipe card sometimes needs to be swiped several times before it can be opened

酒店很不錯，環境很好，衞生很好，服務我給的5分是給管理層的，接待員衹能給2分因為怕得罪會員衹能讓我們這種非會員受到不公平待遇，那就索性不要對外開放了。既然對外開放就請嚴格要求按規章制度來。

I’ve lived and traveled around China for 6 years and have been to Shanghai countless times trying many different types and levels of hotels. The Fairmont Peace Hotel is by the far the best I’ve ever experienced in Shanghai thus far. The service at check in was fantastic and friendly and so accommodating. The lady spoke perfect English which helped me a lot and went so far as to walk us to our room and explain some key points. All staff are wonderful and smiling and so willing to help. The room was clean and quiet and had all the modern finishings to make life easy while blended into a beautiful and traditional style. The Jazz Band is a must see and the small museum is lovely. The Phoenix Restaurant produced some delicious food. Overall I cannot stop singing the praises of this hotel. Also location is fantastic for tourists. Right on the Bund and close to subway stations and taxi pickup points if needed.

I tried to check in at 2pm, was informed that the room was not ready for at least 1 more hour. Asked the receptionist for a restaurant, and instead of pointing out the ones from the hotel, she sent me to Yu Gardens... Come back after an hour and was informed that I need to wait for another 30 min at least. I was given a voucher for a soft drink, and I headed to the lounge to get this drink, I showed the voucher to lady and she said for me to have a cold tea that I agreed. At 3:35 stand up to get my key and the waitress ask me to pay for the tea, I pointed out that I got a voucher and she said that voucher was not good for cold tea and I need to pay aroung 230RMB for a tea I didn't want at the beginning, I was there just for the absurd waiting time for the room to be ready! I asked the manager, and they said no need and they would take care... Arrived in room 1771, a well-appointed room, tried to make a coffee, and the machine was not working... I called the concierge and informed about the machine, after 5 min a lady call me to offer me a bottle.of wine, that I declined as I don't drink offer fruit and at the end an upgrade to the room, I went to the toilet and left the room at 16:00 as I had a meeting. I arrived at the meeting with sweaty clothes and without taking a shower as I got the room over 90 minutes later... I received the key of the new room before I left, when I come back I tried to use the key but was not active, i headed back to reception to check what happened and they activated but didn't apologise for the mistake. The new room had a view of the Bund, so there was no upgrade of the room itseld was just an upgrade of the view... The hotel is nice, has good amenities, and breakfast is solid, fresh, but not as much choice as compared to Shangri-la Pudong. The pool changing room and showers need better cleaning and mantenience. The people at the reception and at the lounge need better training and level up their English to a better standard, hotel is 5 star, experience is far from it.
