La Redonda Sayulita Hostal

Best hostel for young people that I've come across. There's nothing fancy about the facilities but the vibe was great. The staff and the guests were amazing. I had a really good time there and I started to miss the hostel as soon as I left. I would go back to Sayulita again just for the hostel.

Just a real nice place where you will feel happy. The beach is close, the nightlife is flashing, and the Hostel Crew does everything to make your stay inolvidable experience. By the way: TripAdvisor ask you to write 200 characters as a minimum for a review. With this words I have reached the limit to express my thanks: a lovely place with the only risk that you want to stay longer.

This is my first time ever leaving a review for anything. I stayed at La Redonda for about a month and couldn’t of enjoyed my time more !! What a fantastic place. Best location of any hostel in Sayulita, a 1 block walk to the main beach and surfing area. The staff are wonderful and they all really care about everyone’s experience. I had no issue with safety or theft and everything was well kept and clean. The beds were really comfy and the curtains are an added perk for privacy. If you can’t have a good time at this hostel then you should rethink your outlook on life. Amazing, amazing, amazing!

The best place to meet people, very social, friendly stuff, and great located, just 2 minutes from the beach, one of the best hostel on Saylita, they offers to the guest some activities every day, like a beer pong, karaoke or trivia and of course surfing)

Awful. They were rude, and condescending, the manager screamed at me for cooking dinner around the kitchen during closing hours.. The owner is a young 29year old woman who cares very little for her customers.. Not a nice place to stay, especially for the prices they charge. This hostel kinda ruined my experience of Sayulita.. It really killed the vibe of staying in Sayulita. Not to mention the hostel owner allows ************ to freely enter the hostel hang around and offer/sell ******* to the guests.. (she will also kick you out and ban you for any reason even in lue of every bed in Sayulita being booked. Left me homeless for the nights before and around New Years..) Really bad vibes/energy Weird place to stay. Definitely the worst hostel I have ever stayed in across 20 different countries. Just because of how rude, and inhospitable the management and owner were. Bad energy here. If you're not cool enough they will make you feel rejected and unwanted and even kick you out to after paying CAD $350 for a 5 night stay... just avoid this place unless you also want to be rejected and kicked to the streets for cooking dinner at 11pm lol...

I really enjoyed my stay at La Redonda Hostal. I met amazing people, the hostel was super nice and chilled, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was always helpful and very friendly. I can only recommend staying there!

This hostel was amazing! The staff is very very nice and friendly. The a**osphere is great. The breakfasts were very good and well cooked We had great time. Everything was perfect. We would love to return to the Redonda hostel if we return to Sayulita.

AC in room only gets turned on at 11pm, turned off at 9am. But was still very hot and sticky. Even at 2am the hostel is super loud. It's located right next to a club. Facilities were not very clean. Shower had no pressure. They provide you with only a thin sheet to sleep with. The staff was nice, but they only accept cash on arrival and they got really confused about taking my money at checkin. It's cheap. If your a teenager then this place is probably just fine for you! We are 28, so probably too old for this type of thing now even for only 1 night.

La Redonda was a small and vibrant hostel, here are some pros and cons from the trip: Pros Excellent location! Short walking distance to Sayulita plaza, beach, and shops Friendly staff-they were all very kind and helpful Beds- The mattresses were super comfy! I slept well Cons AC- the staff control the air in the rooms and will turn the AC on promptly at 11pm and off usually by 8am. As it was very hot during our trip it was unfortunate that we weren't able to chill in the room for some cool respite until later at night. Noise- Because La Redonda is located in an awesome location it is unfortunately close to loud parties each night. I highly recommend bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper Overall, La Redonda was a really easy and safe space to hang out. There weren't many activities offered as we came during off season and the hostel was not full but the people we met were really cool and if you're looking for a simple hostel with good vibes this is it! I would recommend and would stay there again.
