Hotel Nassereinerhof

We had an amazing time over Christmas. We booked with Inghams ,quite late, and were delighted with the hotel. The kids had already stayed twice there and they liked it. The location is perfect, near the gondola, near the kids ski school ( very good one) and near the renting of all your equipment inclusive of wooden sledges. Normally it is half board, but if one came bed and breakfast , there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, inclusive of a well stocked supermarket. The food was very good. Breakfast had fresh fruit salad and hot choices plus the usual different types of bread and jams. Different choices of tea and coffee. Supper was excellent, one night buffet and one night waiter served food. You had to choose at breakfast. Our waiter Vlad was really nice, very accommodating and helpful. An asset to the hotel. The chef was very good, as well. The afternoon soup and cake was much appreciated after coming from the slopes. The pool was heated and an excellent asset to the hotel, particularly if you come with children. The rooms have bath robes and slippers. No kettle, so you can bring your own. There is only soap in the bathroom , shower gel dispenser not the best. Our room was a double standard room ( the only one available) , but it would be better to upgrade to a superior room. We found the bathroom very small. Still the shower was very good and we survived the week perfectly well. It was great to have Christmas there, in a very relaxed atmosphere without worrying about shopping or cooking at home. We will certainly be back. St Anton has great skiing for all ages and it is a beautiful place.

Overall a very disappointing stay and certainly not worth what they are charging people. My complaints as follows: 1. The room (111): Overall the room was very underwhelming, looked extremely dated and scruffy. The main concerns I have with the room though are: a) I had booked a family room which was a king sized bed plus fold out if required. I was presented with two single beds pushed together, two single duvets. I asked the hotel if this was right and they say yes. b) I asked the hotel for a bigger duvet i.e. one that should go on a king sized bed and got given an extra blanket for a single bed. Would they give two singles to a couple sharing? c) Bedding / pillow quality, the pillows were a mis-match and not comfy at all, see picture attached d) The dressing gowns on arrival, one was broken due to no hooks for the loops and the other had dirty marks all over it! e) When anyone in the hotel took a shower it would make loud running water sounds through my room, this was at all hours and usually started around 6am! Needless to say this woke me up every day. See video attached f) Sound from bar below. I didn’t realise I would be staying in a hotel with a bar that played live music every night until 11pm, I could literally hear every sound, word and song! 2. Breakfast: Overall really disappointing, two main reasons: a) Missing items: I didn’t like the cooked breakfast so had the same cereal and croissants each morning. Two mornings they “forgot” to cook the croissants and asked me to wait 25 mins and one morning they “forgot” to put the cereal jugs out, I reminded them and off they went to get them from a cupboard b) Rude staff: I got told off on day 1 for sitting at an area they were cleaning, although one of their staff put me there! This happened to a large group the next day, the staff were just rude throughout. 3. Safety of ski walk: To get to the ski room you need to walk down the side of the building and then down some stairs, neither of which are lit, the stairs had lights but didn’t work. I got back 6pm once and couldn’t see a thing walking down there in the ice, lethal! 4. The Bar below: a) The prices changes depending on who served you. I ordered the same drink three times and got served by the three staff (two guys and one girl), all three times different prices b) Linked to the prices, you never get a receipt. Only place in St Anton like this. Nothing goes through the till either, I wonder why….. c) Staff not interested in talking to you. The girl was nice and fairly chatty. The two guys were just rude and not interested. Guy with the baseball cap and moustache was the worst. More interested in chatting to the locals. 5. Transfer from hotel to Zurich: A total shambles from start to finish for a number of reasons a) I receive a call 1:34pm on Friday 20/01 from a taxi company (Flow Taxi) saying they will pick me up 30 mins earlier on Saturday due to traffic. What a great place. The staff, rooms, food, was wonderful. Would go back again tomorrow. Breakfast, FANTASTIC!, we all looked forward to afternoon snack, dinner was again, a wonderful experience. Anytime I have to charge my room for extras, I'm a little concerned. What a great deal here. Close to lifts, busses, restaurant's, stores, grocery store, everything. Warm boots in the morning was a great plus! Vladimir was the BEST!!

Lovely hotel with friendly very friendly staff. Excellent location near ski lifts and nursery slopes. We rented a superior double which was fantastic, very comfortable and real quality. (#502). Also rented a family room for my 3 teenagers - fine for them but a bit tired. (#111) Very good swimming pool and steam rooms which were very modern and styled well. Food was plentiful at both breakfast and dinner. Tea or coffee making facilities in room would have been an improvement. Ski storage excellent Cant fault staff at all - really friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 4 days outside the main season in a family room with two children. The hotel performs very well in the 3 star category. The rooms and food are as expected in this category, the wellness area and friendliness exceed expectations. Rooms in the old 'charming' building are indeed a little dated in decor, but perfectly clean and functional. Beds were comfortable, duvets very warm, pillows a bit bumpy, but at least not too high/hard. Enough hanging space for a short stay. We loved the fact that they did not only provide bathrobes and slippers for adults, but also mini children sized bathrobes. The breakfast buffet was very comprehensive: 4-5 hot savoury options, some veggie, 5-6 breads/rolls, including healthier and sweet options, ＞6 meats, ~4 cheeses, ＞8 spreads, ＞6 cereals, juices, hot drinks. Half board dinners were 'decent home cooking', some OK ish, some very nice. The afternoon juice/cake break was a lovely touch. What really stood out was the amazingly attentive and super family friendly service in the restaurant at breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. The waiters/waitresses really made a difference with their cheerful and helpful disposition. The wellness area is impressive and probably above par for a 3 star hotel with pool, two saunas, steam room, and multiple well appointed relaxation areas. We also loved the small integrated playground with swingset and a large trampolin. Hotel is reachable via short walk from the train station and is right next to a major bus stop to explore the area, as well as the local bakery.

I organised a party to stay here in Jan 2022(16 incl 2 children 10ish). The hotel is ideally situated about 150 metres from Nasserein Gondola. There was plenty of space in the bedrooms, some with balconies and were kept spotlessly clean bathroom in my case was a little small but nevertheless adequate whereas some rooms had quite spacious bathrooms. The half board was spectacular with great choice of hot /cold breakfast, fruit, yogurts, meats, cheeses and pate and a variety of different bread/rolls. Self service toaster and each day a good number of hot dishes to choose. Afternoon soup, tea and cake after a hard day on slopes. followed by a daily visit into the in-house Keller bar which offered good lager, some ales and guiness as well as nice red/white wine selection and a range of cocktails. It became our bar of choice as the team in the bar were all very amiable/chatty with good humour and on a couple of early evenings live music instead of piped pop. Dinner was a great experience with fantastic waiter service as well as self service to select your salad /fruit etc and the wine list was very reasonable. All the management and staff were helpful , friendly and very accommodating and helped to make the holiday a success for everyone. The facilities were tested on the 2 white-out days we experienced. The pool/ 3 saunas, steam room were all tested out as were the massages in the spa area. Several lifts guided you to one floor or another and the boot room was enormous with plenty of heated boot hangers and sliding ski racks.
