We stayed at Odyssey not so luxurious apartments from the 04 April to the 19th April. The first night the sheets had blood stains and the bed cover also had some sort of stains. We weren't aware of this till the following morning. At night the only staff present is the security and a maintenance guy. They do not have an emergency phone in the apartment. The housekeeping do a very poor job. Many times dishes weren't washed properly. Earlier in the morning when they're cleaning, they're very loud. They take towels before you can even bath and only return them around 5pm. They do not notify guests of loadshedding nor do they have a back up generator in case of loadshedding. We stayed in the dark. During our stay at we had no water nor electricity for two days. The apartment didn't make a plan for water so we can atleast flush toilets. When they changed the sheets for the second time (because they only changed them after a week which I didn't like), they gave us patched up sheets. They had no extra blanket in the wardrobe we had to ask for one several times. They constantly make up something so they can charge us for damages. When we took our grievances to the manager she called her staff in and they all denied all my complaints. It was just back and forth bickering. I felt ganged up on and the manager denied all our complaints. She advised she believes her employees to which they tried to accuse us of the bloodstains on the sheets which clearly looked washed in the fabric. The manager was very rude and condescending to her guests. At some points she was being sarcastic saying she thinks guests wipe dishes with the bath towels. 🙄🙄🙄 I would never recommend this place to anyone, the manager and her "son" (I suppose) are very arrogant people.
