The hôtel is very well located but what matters the most to me is the bed. 140 cm and too soft. Strong point lovely view of the medieval city directly from your bedroom window. The staff is courteous. Some people say the parking is expensive, yes it is but it allows you to park your car and not worry about it for the rest of your stay. Parking is limited in St Emilion and not free unless you park in some back alley.

Booked this as something of a last minute adventure while in Bordeaux ... couldn't resist staying in a former Templar commanderie. Nothing fancy, but a clean and comfortble room in a neat building right in the center of St. Emilion. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although short, we had a fun visit. Breakfast was very nice. Would stay there again, especially if on a budget.

A central hotel offering clean, bright, comfortable rooms in the middle of St Emilion. Staff are helpful and pleasant. Breakfast of fresh juice, bread, croissants, cheeses, fruit and a boiled egg! Surprisingly delicious ! Air-conditioning in all rooms Quirky rooms in the annexe building. Ours had a beautiful full height stained glass window. Excellent value for the price

Clean and comfortable. Room size was decent with great shelf storage. Shower only in the bathroom. Spare lobby sitting area. Desk is manned from 07:00 to 23:00. Not too far a walk from the car park at the top of St. Emilion. On the east side of the town.

The place is in town, close to the cloister, getting high marks for location. It is a 2* property so charm is not a word that comes to mind. It had no bottled water nor coffee making facilities. Staff was helpful. The rooms are on the first and second floor [2d and 3d for North Americans] but there is an elevator. Thee was a companion wing across the road. It was in a quiet area. The room size was fine. There was individual soap and a squeeze bottle in the shower for hair/body wash. My sleep was not good but I do not heavy duvets. The brekkie was on the main floor, costing c 10 euros. It was good The wifi was not password protected. It was annoying it had to be reset every time the computer was shut off. If you need more from a hotel there are other options in town. If you just need a room to tour some of the wineries, it is okay to fine.

We stayed in room #9 for 3 nights and really liked it. We needed elevator access and this twin bedded room was the last one available. We had beautiful views out of the three windows in the room. Breakfast was 13€ per person and was really good. The guy at the front desk during the day ( and who served us breakfast) was really nice and very helpful. The location of this hotel can’t be beat. We would stay here again if we return to beautiful St. Emilion.

Accueil adorable, emplacement en hauteur au coeur du village. Personnel tres avenant et rendant service. Chambre vraiment minuscule ou je n'ai pas pu ouvrir ma valise, verre mal lavé, poussière, proximité ascenseur et très mauvaise insonorisation entre les étages, j'ai eu l'impression d' être dans la chambre de mes voisins de dessus. Toilettes au sous sol de la salle de petit déjeuner très mal entretenues. Malgré mon signalement rien n'a été fait. Cela mériterait d'appliquer un protocole stricte de nettoyage, dépoussiérage et toiles d'araignées.

Un cinq pour le parking. 1 pour la chambre où il y avait une forte odeur de transpiration 😡 et qui était minuscule, 1 pour la cabine douche. Cinq pour la situation, cinq pour la personne sympathique(homme) aux petits déjeuners et à la réception.
