Vatican Relais Rome

Recent long weekend stay at Vatican Relais Rome. ******* app brought us to the door, otherwise would have been a challenge to find, being located within an apar**ent block. Very friendly greeting and easy check in. Useful info and a map provided. Room was very compact, and the bathroom even more so. However it had everything we needed, with excellent Wifi, clean towels daily, mini bar, hair dryer, etc. TV only showed Italian channels, but it wasn’t an issue as we only really used the room to sleep. Breakfast was rather basic, but there were eggs, cereals, bread, croissant, tea and coffee. Dining room is pretty small,but perfectly functional Location is great, particularly for the Vatican, but it’s close to bus stops, metro etc. It’s not the most glamorous hotel, but they’re really friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are really functional and clean. If you want spas and pools etc, then go somewhere else, but this is great value for money and ideal for someone keen to explore Rome.

One block from the vatican, close to good restaurants like the La Locanda di Pietro which became our favorite restaurant and also within walking distance to other places to visit. Clean rooms but on the tighter side which is common by european standard. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is average. It's more than enough for me but I eat very light breakfast. And thanks goodness they have an elevator. They kept our bags until we were ready to leave for our flight late in the afternoon. Will definitely recommend.

I stayed with my family for three nights and we had a very pleasant experience. The room was a very good size for 3 people, really quiet, with comfortable beds and a minibar with cold drinks at better prices than in the mini markets, basically, it had everything we needed to have a good rest after a strenuous day walking around Rome. The hotel is extremely close to Vatican City and there is a metro station a few streets away, the area is safe to walk around even at night, and there are many restaurants with authentic Italian food and honest prices nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they waited for our late arrival, recommended places to eat, stored our luggage for a couple of hours after the check-out, and called a taxi for us. Vatican Relais Rome was a great place to stay, I absolutely recommend it!

This place is lovted next to Vatican city nd walkinh distance from down town. The place is clean nd staff is friendly nd ccomodating. I just wish they had tea or coffee in the room.

The accommodation is in a townhouse in the shadow of the walls of the Vatican, 5- 10 minute walk from the nearest metro station. There are plenty of bars and cafes in the vicinity. The room was clean and well appointed, en-suite with a fridge, although it felt a bit small for three grown men. The accommodation was great value for money and I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us great recommendations for dining and getting around town.

This property is lovely. The staff are kind, available and very professional. The room is beautiful and more importantly in this heat - COLD. I will definately be back just to stay here.

We absolutely loved everything about the space. We were delayed for our trip due to flight issues and they were super accommodating to us arriving later than expected. The morning breakfast they offered was quaint and very nice. The location couldn’t have been better, being minutes from the Vatican tours entrance and right around the corner from St. Peter’s Basilica. Plenty of options for food and drink as well. We had a cute wraparound balcony as well.

Only 5 minutes to St Peter’s Square and Basilica. Places to eat/shop all close by.
