Heritage Hotel Rockhampton

Copy of the email I sent to the manager minus details that would identify me and my family. We have had no response at all from the heritage booked a table for 4 to have a family meal for mine and my daughters birthday. We ordered a cheesy garlic bread, 2 x chicken burger meals, a fish of the day and a rib steak and veggies with garlic calamari topper for a total of $114 (plus a few rounds of drinks on top) The steak was the first meal delivered to the table but was missing the calamari topper.  I flagged down a waiter to explain and he said he would get it straight away. The other meals arrived and we started to eat with me thinking my topper won't be far away.  I finished everything on my plate with the exception of the steak as I wanted the topper I paid for with it.  I got the attention of another waitress who also said she would get ut straight away.  Another 15mins goes by and finally the topper is brought to the table but of course by this time the steak is dead cold and I'm very angry about the whole meal.  I told the waiter not to worry and just refund the meal as it was cold and I had lost my appetite because of the stuff around.  The waiter then brought me $6 to cover the topper and at this point we got up and left as we were way to angry to deal with this. I wasn't asking for everything to be refunded just my meal as that was the only meal stuffed up. Regards P.s. I also don't think it's good practice for the cook to dish up salad by just grabbing a fist full with bare hands out of a large bowl and put directly onto a consumer's plate. Yes we did witness this from our table just before we left the establishment. 

A table of 7 dinner guests 6.30pm on Easter Sunday and they refused to prepare a Vegan meal for one of our guests. The Chef or Manager didn't even care or Bother to speak with us or to arrange a meal. It was early in the night and we were the only table there ordering a meal. The attitude of the staff was appauling and didn't care at all. I cancelled my meal and refused to give them my money. Restaurants need people. People don't need restaurants!!! AVOID THE BY HERITAGE HOTEL IN ROCKHAMPTON. Go to the Criterian hotel instead.

L'hotel è molto bello, accanto alla river walk. Purtroppo c'è pochissimo parcheggio e prima delle 17.30 in alcuni posti non puoi lasciare l'auto. La camera è bella e i bagni sono puliti, ma non c'è wifi, assurdo nel 2024. Prezzo economico. Do tre stelle nel complesso.
