We arrived at the hotel very late (1.15am) as flights had been cancelled and the one we got was delayed. We were greeted by a friendly individual who efficiently booked us into our room. Room was a good size, we liked the chair in Premier Plus room. The chocolate, water and coffee pods were appreciated in the room. The hotel in a good location, easily accessible from Richmond station - cross the road outside the station, any bus to going to Manor Circus will stop just opposite the Premier Inn. Thank you to a previous reviewer who listed the bus to get to Richmond Parkrun. The 371 goes every 10 minutes after 8am on a Saturday, and had us at Richmond about 12-15 minutes later. A beautiful walk in a lovely park - saw the deer, saw the sights around London -on the right angle you can see Wembley, the Post Office Tower (BT Tower), Canary Wharf. Horses going by, cyclists too. 371 back - it goes more through the town on the one way system and was probably more like 20 minutes back. Good breakfast - I think credit needs given to the staff here - although we turned up at about 10:20am on a Saturday, the staff were working together to ensure that supplies of cooked breakfast were topped up. The addition of a member of staff coming round and checking if we wanted anything from the area before it closed was welcome too. I have been at Premier Inns at 10.20 on a Saturday before and no one is topping up the options for the fry - you just have to take what you get, and some options are unavailable. So big kudos to the team at Richmond for this. My wife had lovely porridge, poached egg. Really good service. We needed a second towel after the park run so both of us could shower - this was no problem and handed immediately to me - nothing seems too much trouble to the staff here. Enjoyed the products to shower with. A couple of scuff marks that require touching up on the skirting board i the bathroom. One downside - I was in 323 - there was no internet connection on the wifi. I have a screenshot and can show this. This was disappointing as it was a Premier Plus room, and only blemish on my visit to the hotel. The hotel is extremely close to Kew Gardens - about a 10 minute walk which we visited. In fact, when we opened the curtains on Saturday morning we could see clearly the Great Pagoda, straight in front of us. Good staff, well trained. Fix the wifi please.
