This little gem is hidden away in San Benedetto in Perillis where you would never expect such a beautiful little hide away. Very friendly staff. Traditional decor and very romantic. The bedroom had a little fireplace and bath with views looking out over the mountains and far in the distance popoli and sulmona. If your looking for a lovely romantic getaway for a few days this is your place.

Had an incredible stay at Charme. It was the biggest surprise of our three week trip. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back. The most incredible views are right outside your door. Hosts are lovely. Breakfast was awesome. The town is mostly uninhabited after the earthquake of 2009, but some places like Charme have been lovingly restored. It's about a 15 minute drive down into the closest town for restaurants or groceries. Highly recommend a stay here if you like amazing views and charming unique accommodations.

Outstanding view
Check in is scheduled at 4.00pm but the lady arrived 30 mn late
Check out is scheduled at 10.30am, it is a bit too early to enjoy the place
The village is not charming, a lot of houses are under rénovation ie noises
Nearest restaurants at 20mn by car

This is a really beautiful property, and specific to those seeking remoteness. The village is effectively uninhabited, and at the same time offers a dramatic view of the surrounding mountains. A bottle of wine is offered for sale, but if you’re planning to eat in the evening, plan on driving 10-15 minutes to the closest restaurants. Of note, the breakfast was very complete and delicious!

We stumbled upon this hidden gem! It is the most charming hotel/room we have ever stayed in! The place was spotless, it oozes character and was incredibly cozy. Staff was lovely and helpful, we had the home prepared dinner and it was delicious (so much food!!). Over all we are so happy we found it!

Beautiful location away from the hustle and bustle , the property is built of stone and wooden beams giving it a lot of character,the rooms are tastefully furnished it would have been better if there was some more sound proofing as you could hear other guests, I didn’t see any of the other rooms but ours did not have a door for privacy to the Loo and for my wife in particular found this a little uncomfortable.
Having breakfast overlooking the valley was special
