Sunrise Gardens Aparthotel

Just returned from a 11 day holiday at the Sunrise Gardens Protaras. This hotel is in a great location on the ***** in between Sunrise and Fig Tree beaches. The hotel is spotlessly clean with stunning pool and garden area and staff here cannot do enough for you. We stayed half board but were a little disappointed that the full dine around option has been reduced from 5 restaurants to 2 restaurants and a surcharge on one as this is what attracted us to the hotel on our previous holidays. The food at the hotel is outstanding although a few different breakfast options are needed with the eggs and potatoes as it gets a little repetitive having same breakfast over and over. Evening meal is of a high standard but you need to cut the bingo and quizzes until after mealtimes. The one quibble we had was with our room which was 105. The cupboard for the kettle and tea facilities was directly behind the entrance doorway but the door had a door closer stopping the cupboard door from fully opening so we did not access to the draw which holds the tea, coffee, milk. Etc. We told reception on the first night but it took two further visits to reception and until day 8 of our holiday for problem to be rectified. Overall we had a brilliant holiday staying at the sunrise gardens and will definitely be back in the near future.

Food was great and staff were amazing, especially the Tui Holiday rep joy - would come again 100% - rooms were cleaned daily and efficiently whilst we relaxed by the pool, the food variety changed every night and was always superb. Thankyou for a great holiday, Ty & Gee

One of the best Hotels we have ever stayed in, we haven ow stayed here 4 times & never had any problems. Good food, great service, friendly staff who look after you really well. Big shout out to Illias, the restaurant manager & Petruola at the pool bar, they make the Sunrise Gardens. The staff at reception really make you welcome & are really helpful.

What can I say everything about Sunrise Gardens is perfect, our second visit May 2023 and booked again for May 2024. This hotel is spotless, food is great, rooms are perfect and the staff are the absolute best. They go above and beyond to help and they are always so welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in the perfect location for bars and a five minute walk to the beach, if you fancy a change from the beautiful pool areas. I doubt very much anyone could be disappointed. So looking forward to our next trip in a few weeks. I've only got one disappoin**ent that the Italian and lemon grass are not now included in the dine around, but the Greek restaurant is fab.

Everything about the hotel was perfect from the people to the food,the beds were super comfy and our air conditioning was also brilliant with an amazing view from the balcony amazing hotel with great pool would very much recommend

Stayed at Sunrise Gardens on a good deal HB with TUI at beginning of October. Lots of positives about this hotel and the resort of Protaras in general - Food either excellent or very good from the hotel buffet Evening meal was better than breakfast in our opinion Could switch Evening meal for Lunch which is also very good All staff seemed really nice Pool areas nice, choice of 2 main pools + a childrens splash pool Quick and easy check-in and check-out Hotel Gym, small but good quality equipment General cleanliness across the whole of the hotel Location of hotel excellent - close to all pubs/bars and beach A few negatives - We were in room 6 in building behind main pool but facing twowards car park, not a great view and didn't really see the sun AirCon was noisy reported to reception but nothing done about it Sunbed situation needs addressing as outlined in other reviews. We saw towels on beds when we got back late evening, really selfish! Buffet could get quite busy at times and tables not always ready The 2 additional restaurants you can book were not that great to be honest, preferred the buffet. Would loved to have given this 5* as many other guests have, but for us it didn't warrant it, hence a good 4* rating. We will likely return to Protaras and the Sunrise gardens in the future as we had a great holiday and I am sure some of the negatives I report will be resolved and I will look to get a room in the main building next time.

This is a gem of a hotel. The location is on the ***** but no noisy bars around it - fantastic location and probably 5 mins walk to the beach. The food is the best we have ever had - we usually stay in large hotels with lots of buffet stations / this was small and compact but the choices you had were just the best! We dined in the Restaurant that you can use twice a week and Wow ! We also swopped our evening meal for lunch and you order off a menu - spoilt for choice we added up for the 3 of us it would have cost €80 you get a starter / main and dessert and this was all included in the half board option. We never used the Brazilian down the road (€9 each supp) The staff in the restaurant work so hard and are so friendly, they are amazing all of them - to work how they do in the extreme hot temperatures they are fab! We had a superior double with side sea view and this was perfect for 2 adults and 1 child age 14 - super clean like all of the hotel and lovely maids. The pool area is great lots of sunbeds - 3 pool areas , we sat round the main one where the swim up bar was, a little music maybe would be nice ! We 100% will be returning - Sunrise Gardens I can now see why you have 5/5 on trip advisor !!

3rd time at this hotel ,food is good ,preferred the lunch time menu to the evening buffet ,just my preference ,breakfast was very good with all the usual breakfast items .Went to Brazilian on the dine around which was very good and lemongrass which was amazing ,they honoured it as we booked the holiday before they removed the option. Room was comfortable ,water wasn't always hot at beginning of stay but it seemed to be a lot better after a few days ,we were on the side overlooking reception but didn't have any problem with noise. One last comment all the staff are lovely and would stay there again.

We was originally staying in sunrise oasis but after 2 nights they had offered us a swap to sunrise gardens and upgrading us to hold board, an offer because we booked directly. We took the swap and so glad we did! (We don't have anything against sunrise oasis we've stayed there over 6 times) the apar**ent was lovely and double aspect living room. It was spotless and stayed that way the maids work so hard. The food was excellent, breakfast was always fresh and a food choice, the egg chef was amazed he cracked open an egg and found a double yolker he laughed every day when I went for my egg hoping I got another double yolk! Dinner was absolutely lovely and probably the best we've had always plently of fresh food and choice. we did dine out once at the Brazilian and was amazing! We did swap our dinner for lunch one day and was menu which we wasn't expecting but again it was brilliant! The staff at sunrise Gardens was absolutely fantastic and remembered us from sunrise oasis. A special mention to Monica on the reception who always had a smile and time for chat with us, and also a special mention elias he remembered us from a few years ago from sunrise oasis, he always had a smile on his face and chatted to us! The pools was good but the only thing was reserving sunbeds, they could do with adding more sunbeds. The grounds was kept well and only a short stumble back from the *****! We met some great friends while we was staying and we are so happy we took the change of hotel we really wouldn't hesitate to come back here!
