Total disaster, they canceled reservation 3 days before arrival due to "invalid card" , I travel via booking for many years and this never happens. Card is debit yes, but never anyone complains about it. Anyway, I e-mailed manager and told him that if is needed I will send money via western union or whatever. No answer, just cancel. If this is your policy about cards then don't let people think until last moment that everything is ok, cancel it right away you *****. And answer the phone from time to time. My guessing is if owner found someone who will pay more will cancel reservation that's made earlier if it's cheaper.
