Grande Albergo Potenza

Located in a very central position in the historic center, we made it as our starting point for visiting the various attractions and monuments of the city. This hotel, equipped with a minibar and air conditioning, allowed us to read the newspapers and surf the web with our cell phone and laptop thanks to the free wifi connection present throughout the entire structure. The hotel was a real, pleasant surprise for us, who had checked the many booking sites and had seen many dated, old and almost unrealistic photos which did not give it good publicity and which made it look like a hangar of an aerodrome. Above all they didn't do justice to the spaces. In fact, the rooms, although very small, are comfortable, clean and tastefully furnished. There us no pictures of the bathrooms on the booking site. At the reception desk we were greeted with courtesy and professionalism. The location is strategic, close to the Cathedral, the historic and iconic shopping street, Via Pretoria, Piazza della Prefettura and the historic Teatro Stabile. From the windows of this very tall building, perhaps the tallest in the city itself, you can admire a wonderful view of the surrounding hills, of the entire city itself and of the valley below. The strong point of the hotel is a beautiful, elegant and very spacious lobby, with noteworthy furnishings and décor. The breakfast was rather satisfying and plentiful, the prices rather moderate. Good value for money. We recommend it.

I have stayed at this lovely Hotel many times. On all my visits to Potenza I have enjoyed my stay at this Hotel. Its wonderful location, the fabulous breakfast and the nice rooms all make this an enjoyable experience.

L'albergo in sè non è male. Il vero problema è il personale al suo interno, in special modo gli addetti alla reception (soprattutto la signora) che già al momento del mio primo ingresso si è mostrata per nulla empatica e abbastanza scontrosa. Quando al mattino, gentilmente, abbiamo segnalato (io, le mie colleghe che pernottavano in altre stanze, nonchè altri ospiti di altri piani della struttura) che mancava l'acqua calda in camera ci è stato risposto - con fare arrogante - che la colpa non era loro ma della caldaia malfunzionante. Si consideri che l'accaduto è riferito al mese di dicembre. Alla fine non ci hanno neanche chiesto scusa e sbuffando ci hanno chiesto di pagare, senza fare neanche una piccola attenzione sul prezzo. Pessima esperienza.

PERSONALE INCOMPETENTE , ARROGANTE E BIFOLCO, PER NULLA ATTENTO ALLE ESIGENZE DEI CLIENTI. SE DESIDERATE FARE UNA DOCCIA CALDA RIGENERANTE , DATO IL CLIMA RIGIDO CHE CARATTERIZZA LA ZONA, EVITATE QUESTO ALBERGO. NON C'E' ACQUA CALDA E IL PERSONALE E' DEL TUTTO INDIFFERENTE AI DISAGI ARRECATI

Albergo ospitale, funzionale e comodo proprio in centro città. Cucina ottima, stanze accoglienti e dotate di ogni comfort, posizione comoda, personale gentilissimo, un plauso e un grande ringraziamento a Vincenzo, Carmen e Salvatore per la professionalità e la grande disponibilità. In una parola: CONSIGLIATISSIMO

Eccellente struttura in pieno centro storico con comodo garage privato a pochi metri dall'albergo. Camere molto pulite e confortevoli. Il personale è gentile e molto disponibile. Colazione con ampia scelta di dolci e salati con possibilità di effettuarla nella terrazza panoramica protetta da vetrate e riscaldata. L'albergo dispone anche di ristorante e di sale congressi che però non ho avuto modo di utilizzare. Ottimo rapporto prezzo/qualità.
