Really great set up and very comfortable. Walkable to everything you want to do in Portsmouth. Room was very spacious, including full kitchen and washer dryer. Was also very clean - well worth it and would definitely go back. Interesting set up in that there was no reception, but check in and check out was super easy, and having parking was great too

We absolutely LOVED our stay at The Inn Downtown. The rooms are amazingly stylish (I'll have to ask them about the wallpaper...loved it), and very clean and large! They're more akin to studio apar**ents than they are hotel rooms, with well-equipped kitchens and spacious baths. Parking is easy and adjacent...you can come and go as you please without the hassle/expense of a valet. The location can't be beat. Top-notch restaurants of all price points/cuisines are within an easy 5-minute walk. Bring home leftovers and pop them into the spacious Smeg fridge. Mini-bar options are plentiful and well-priced. We look forward to staying at The Inn Downtown the next time we are in/near Portsmouth.

Great spot in downtown Portsmouth. Easy self check-in, lovely room with snacks and drinks available for purchase, and very comfortable. Easy to get to without dealing with too much Portsmouth traffic, and it’s walkable to all the things you’d want to do downtown. We will absolutely stay here again!

This was a great location however the property itself felt very dark inside and not a lot of lamps. Perhaps it was too modern with the dark black walls by the bed.
Communication through a 3rd party also made it slightly challenging.

Excellent accommodation for a quick visit to Portsmouth. Great communication both pre and post from the owners. Clean fully serviced accommodation in historic house that is part of a group of historic buildings. Restaurants and pubs withing 2 mins walk. Only downside was refuse lorries early at the Hilton opposite emptying bins. 7am

Amazing place! Abby the property manager was so patient to answer my questions and she helped us to extend our stay when we asked her. The place is so modern, comfortable and clean. The location is perfect for easy walking to restaurants and shops. Instructions on stay were clear and I asked for an extra blanket and it was provided. Just a really great place to enjoy Portsmouth, NH.

We are from New England, this was our first trip to Portsmouth. Our apar**ent was immaculate, very comfortable and perfectly located. We are well traveled and really loved the simplicity of the self check-in and check-out. Super job Doug and Abby, we will be back! PS. Thank you Abby for finding and sending back my sunglasses.

Property was really clean and quaint. What we really liked is that the building was converted into a modern-day inn using an apar**ent building format. All restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance and the town of Portsmouth is a place we will definitely visit again.
