The hotel is right across the water but please note that the taxi might refuse to take u up the ramp so if u have heavy luggages make sure to have the hotel talk to the taxi because it’s a bit of a slope and the street is made of pebbles so it’s hard to wheel the suitcases The staff is extremely friendly and helpful especially Mr Luiz Guilherme The breakfast and afternoon tea and local baked goods are both included in the room rate and both the selection and quality is really good they even have lactose free milk at breakfast.

Charming small hotel at the best location. Every room has a river view and hearty breakfast

The hotel is right on the river. The tram is right at the door to take us to the open sea. A bus top is also right at the door to connect us to any other public transportation including the train to the airport. The service is superb and everything is excellent. We'd stay there again!

The Memoria was a great choice for my wife and I to stay 6 nights in Porto. Great location/neighborhood, perfect size hotel, rooms were very clean, comfortable and spacious (at least the one we booked) and the breakfasts were delicious. The staff... Isabella, Sha, and the others were all very friendly and accommodating! We would stay here again for sure!

The angel of the hotel is Isabella! She saved the day, I was so frustrated when my Bolt driver dropped me off and left me on the wrong street. Isabella came out to find me and help me drag my suitcase up the ramp. She was the kindest person. Words can not express my thanks. All of the front desk staff and the kitchen staff were kind and professional. They are one of the best front desk staff I've ever encountered in all my travels. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Now, the hotel what a beautiful place. My room was wonderful, the view was amazing. I slept very well here. I felt safe walking around at night. The location is very convenient to everything I wanted to see and very walkable. The ramp to get to the hotel was the only issue. Difficult to roll your suitcase. I'd happily stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. From the moment of arrival made to feel so welcome. All staff friendly, professional and really felt they cared about you and your stay. Gorgeous, clean and comfortable room, excellent shower and great night's sleep. Breakfast included and again, excellent. Freshly cooked scrambled eggs, breads, fruits, and cakes! All fabulous. Location overlooking the river, walkable to majority of sights. Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay! Such a beautiful and quaint hotel that was extremely walkable to every major attraction I wanted to see. Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff was fantastic and so professional. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Cozy hotel with very friendly staff. Did feel like home (FLH). Free coffee and tea throughout the day with added bonus of free homemade cake at 5pm! ;)

Staff and service excellent. Hotel located right across the street from the river. Breakfast very good. Lots of good restaurants nearby Only drawback and not the fault of the hotel, nearly all tourist sites a good 15 to 20 minute walk straight uphill, not good for anyone who has breathing or mobility issues. On the bright site Bolt and Uber are inexpensive When returning to Porto I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

Everything was great except the smell of the bathrm. Had trouble sleeping due to odor. Went to hotel late 1st night, had to sleep through odor. The next day the hotel did a thorough clean. Other than that, the location, size of the room, free breakfast were great.

Great location right near the Douro River. It is a walkable distance to lots of places. The hotel is clean and the staff is really nice and helpful. There is complementary breakfast provided. The entrance is up an incline so you do need to walk up stairs to enter but the location feels safe.

Spotlessly clean. Amazing staff, particularly Luis on reception, who was so helpful and knowledgeable. He gave great recommendations. Room very comfy with views over Douro river, very quiet area but still walking distance to historic centre. Riberia area less than 5 min walk with loads of restaurants. Continental breakfast with plenty of choices. Gluten free bread provided when asked. Tea/coffee available all day.
