Travelodge Poole

My wife and I stayed here for four nights over the early May bank holiday. The receptionist was excellent and the room clean and comfortable. The location is a 10 minutes walk to the quay and you are close to the bus routes. Our room was quiet and overlooked the car park and bay. The only downside was that the room was very warm and I would imagine this would be very hot in summer (no air conditioning). Overall a lovely stay and would highly recommend. Definitely one of the better Travelodges we have stayed at.

Very pleasant overnight stay, with a very nice meal. Benji made the whole check in process quick and easy, with the addition of him bringing up and iron and hear dryer to the room when requested. Couldn’t fault the staff in the bar as they were also very friendly.

It was very hot in the room and noisy from being so close to the main road. With constant traffic outside of the window the room definitely need an air conditioner. With the window shut the noise is bearable but the heat isn’t. Could not imagine staying here on hot summer day/ night. Apart from that, our family room was very spacious, comfy and clean, staff are very friendly as always!!!

Bad experience. Made complaint to Customer services about numerous problems we had. Customer services were useless. No help what soever. So now gotta take it further. Ombusmens advised us to take out a small claims court against them.its only £165.00 , but it has to done

Very poor standard of room fittings, cracked sink, faulty light fitting, bathroom falling apart and dirty spoons. Nobody interested in my complaint and quite dismissive in rectifying it

This was exactly what I expect from a Travelodge clean and functional. But it is in a building with other businesses and I think it was the gym had horrible beat music playing all night.

Honestly thought a hotel could not be this bad and stay in business. The room was clean but that was the only good thing about the place. Slow slow slow service when booking in. One tiny lift to serve the whole hotel. Car park full of broken glass where customers had clearly had their cars robbed. The couple in the next room to us had 2 very expensive bikes stolen from the car park the night we stayed. Avoid this place at all costs. Genuinely terrible
