Viking Nature Resort

this is a good place to use if your on Phi Phi. not in the crazy town but a 20 minute walk from the noise. not too far not to close it has its own private beaches and restaurant . great units. its on a hill side so lots of steps. sandy beaches and good breakfast.

Would definitely book again!! Fabulous staff and easy walk into town the location is beautiful and you really don't need to leave the resort as you can snorkel off the beach , eat at the restaurant and get a massage at their massage hut on the beach. Worth the money.

We stayed at the Viking Nature Resort for one night on our honeymoon and had an amazing time. We took the complimentary boat over from the main pier and they gave us an incredible room with a huge porch, hammock and ocean view which we did not expect. They decorated the room for our honeymoon and the staff were super kind and helpful. The beach is beautiful and feels super secluded. Despite what google maps says, there is an an easy 15 minute walk to the popping part of town. They also have massages on the beach with great prices. This is a hidden gem and highly recommended!

My friends and I had an incredible experience at the Viking Nature Resort. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They helped organize a perfect snorkeling tour with pickup/drop off at the resorts private beach. The restaurant menu has a lot to offer and everything we ordered was great. We did not dine out anywhere else on the island because it was so convenient. The walk into town takes 20-25 minutes but it’s a nice walk right along the coast and beaches. We loved the grand villa and really enjoyed our stay!

This was a special stay for our 29th wedding anniversary. We chose it for its uniqueness, beauty, and privacy, and it far surpassed our expectations! The room we were given was just above the lobby and restaurant, which over looked the beach, was both private and close proximity for convenience. The bungalow was huge and comfortable. Very well stocked with amenities. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had such a good time at this resort and would not hesitate to go back, in fact we can’t wait to go back! We went to Thailand for two weeks and went to three different areas; Bangkok, Phi Phi and Krabi. We stayed at Phi Phi for five nights and absolutely loved all five nights at the Viking Resort, it was our favourite of all three hotels. Good points- - the amazing staff work so hard to make your experience exceptional. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay and we really appreciate them. The cocktails were fabulous and excellent value…be careful not to drink too many! - our room was lovely, it was in the hills so we had a great view of Long Beach and we had monkey visitors on our terrace. I have never before seen monkeys in the wild and it was such an experience, I won’t forget it - the rooms have air-con! You’ll appreciate this after walking up the hill! - the rooms are clean and have everything you need including a (chargeable) stocked fridge - it wasn’t too far from town and also it wasn’t too close (walking distance but without the noise) - we often opted to walk into town and then get a long boat back again - for boat trips speak to Apple at the front desk. She is knowledgeable, helpful and a fantastic resource at the resort. Thank you Apple! - we often spent evenings at the resort rather than going into town because we loved the place so much- good food, good drinks, beautiful sea views and awesome staff - private beach with beanbags (trust me, you won’t miss having a swimming pool) - breakfast was good with plenty of western and Thai options. Eggs cooked to order if you ask the helpful staff - Kayaks you can borrow from the resort - beach front Thai massages available (chargeable) Things to consider- - you have to be able to climb out of a long boat into the sea on arrival (don’t worry about your bags, the awesome team are on hand to help) - it is a 25 ish minute walk into town with some steep hills and across sand. This might be difficult for some in the heat - most of the rooms appear to be uphill via steep slopes and stepping stones etc. some might struggle with this We spent a lot of time reviewing hotels before selecting this one, and had to actually book it direct because our travel agent didn’t have it on the books. I am so pleased with our choice and as long as you don’t have mobility issues, then we highly recommend this resort. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay. xx

Resort is in a great location, it’s rustic and a great little private beach. I would stay again, breakfast isn’t the best but edible.

Beautiful! Very friendly staff, very laid back. A Perfect escape from the busy main area. We had a small double bed hut. It was exactly as described. Small, private, in nature but with aircon, a fridge and bathroom. Lovely touches like traditional rugs and artwork, a large rustic verandah overlooking nature and the beach. WE LOVED IT! It is on a hillside and our hut was a 10 minute walk through the forest on stepping stones to reception. Not recommended for people with mobility issues due to the steep steps and when you arrive by long boat you have to step down into the sea. But if you want a Phi Phi relaxation natural vibe, with all mod cons. This is your place! 5 stars!

the best resort in Phi Phi Island!! great stay, great ambiance, great service.. everything perfect. rooms are incredible, the view from balcony is awsome. must visit resort if you're going to phi phi.
