Breakfast is delicious with Chinese cuisine (yummy fried noodles), basic Western cuisine and coffee. Special shoutout to: 1. Daisy from Level 2 F&B, who greeted us every morning and was helpful with Kunming recommendations. Manager Nick for being so courteous. 2. Ellie from Housekeeping, who was diligent in keeping our room clean and reminded us to keep warm in the sudden cold weather. 3. Qiu from Level 1 reception for helping with my checkout. And the friendly reception ladies. Hotel has a basic drinks station at the lobby, self-laundry and gym. Room had a basic kitchenette, study table and smart technology. Location is 5-10 mins walk to 白云 metro station and 15-20 mins walk to Tongde shopping mall (must-go Korean bbq & Chaoshan beef hotpot on Level 4). Convenience shops are just outside hotel. Highly recommended.

The self-driving tour is in Kunming. The inn is located near the Dianchi Dam. It only takes a few minutes to walk there. The scenery is very good and there are many tourists. The staff is extremely friendly, they welcome you as a super special guest. The amenities are excellent, beautiful. Everything is super clean and there’s little pieces of decoration that makes you feel like home. One of the best choices I could have made! Totally recommend!

When traveling in Yunnan, this is the first choice for the famous inn by Dianchi Lake. It is just across the road from Haigeng Dam. It takes three minutes to get to Haigeng Dam. It is very convenient to feed seagulls and take a walk at night. The courtyard in the famous inn is beautifully built, and it is very photogenic. There are also various room types. Second time staying here and it’s always a great place to come for a staycation for us. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the service is good. Lots of local restaurants around. Facilities are modern. Definitely a good choice. If you’re a visitor you might find the location a bit far out but with taxi services being so readily available I don’t find it to be a huge issue. It’s about 15 mins away by cab from down town.
