Having read all the previous reviews on here before choosing to book they are all pretty accurate. My daughter and I visited in July we found this hotel to be extremely clean, with friendly staff, good maid service, lovely buffet breakfast and evening meals. It was a little dated in some areas but was part of its character! It is located within a 5 minute walk to the beach with plenty of gift shops and supermarkets close by. During the day there was aerobics, darts, dance classes as well as a Foam party with free mojitos which was great fun! In the evening we enjoyed the acrobatics and singing entertainment. I celebrated my birthday whilst we were away and was treated to a bottle of fizz left in our room and birthday cake and more fizz at our evening meal, thank you! At breakfast you can sit anywhere in the restaurant at the evening meal you are given a set table. The only downside to this is the tables set for 2 people are extremely close together you felt like you were dining with your neighbouring table. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

4 star hotel With 5 star Staff and 5 star service. They really can’t do enough to make your Stay Special. Will definitely come back. When we checked in we were offered sea view upgrade. Room 816. Well worth the extra. Food outstanding. Plenty of choice. Just had white party at pool outstanding. Love the vibe all holiday.10/10 gracias

Absolutely LOVED everything about Valentin Reina Paguera and the wonderful team looking after us ❤️ We had the most relaxing yet friendly and entertaining stay here. Every single person we met representing the hotel was lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. From the team on Reception, in the Restaurant, at the Bars (both indoors and poolside), the Entertainment and Hospitality team, Housekeeping, right down to the Poolside/Grounds team, we were always greeted with kindness and made to feel very welcome and well looked after. Can only offer the highest praise for everyone making this hotel so wonderful. We will definitely be returning both together and also with additional family/friends in future. We can see why visitors rate Valentin Reina Paguera so highly and return again and again. As has been said before by others, the hotel is beautiful, immaculate and always spotless. The food and drink offerings very good quality and plentiful. And our room, even though we booked a standard room, was really lovely. We were impressed 110% with everything during our stay here and made sure to pass on our thanks before we left for home. We cannot wait to return hopefully sooner rather than later. On arrival at 10.30pm was greeted by a lovely lady very professional and helpful there is a little food if needed Room was spotless great location shops restaurants nearby entertainment was great Food was good too great place to relax Only down side is balcony lights automatically go out around 10 at night

Hotel is amazing. It is in a great location and every member of staff is extremely attentive and helpful. Hotel itself is extremely clean with fantastic views of the beach (sea view rooms). The food in the hotel is fresh and delicious and the entertainment throughout the day and night is fantastic. The facilities are great too. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is lovely and clean with frequent room service. The food was great, fresh and nice variety. The only downside is despite being half board ( breakfast and dinner included) we still had to pay extra for drinks at dinner. The bar is nice and has a lively entertainment schedule, although mainly catered for older people we didn’t feel out of place being a younger couple. The staff are very warm and friendly and hardworking and are helpful in booking taxis and excursions and it was great in being able to leave your luggage and use separate shower rooms on the last day if your flight is late at night. The hotel is also a 5 min walk from the beach literally around the corner which is more than ideal. There were mainly German tourists at the hotel and a lot of the Tv channels were German but that didn’t bother us, everyone was nice and courteous.

Lovely hotel in convenient location for the beach, restaurants and bars. The room we had allocated was very noisy due to coaches arriving at unsociable hours and guests waiting or arriving being very loud. The hotel food, entertainment, cleanliness etc was excellent, great choice and quality. I agree with previous reviews highlighting the lack of free drinking water with dinner. They provide free cava and vodka at breakfast, so why not water? The hotel has a 90% German occupancy and we definitely found communicating with some of the restaurant staff almost impossible in English, which led to some confusion. German guests were greeted more enthusiastically and restaurant staff communicated more with them. Again, as in previous reviews, I was surprised at how close dining tables were. Would we visit again? Yes - I hope reviews are read and acted upon as UK companies are offering packages to the hotel. However, there are areas that need addressing.

This is a very good hotel with one huge drawback. The bedroom was very clean and spacious. The pool area was lovely with plenty of sun beds. The bar was very pleasant. However the dining room - whilst appealing - had far too many tables to cater for all its guests. On our first night we were told we had to wait an hour before we could go to the dining room due to the number of guests. Tables for two were embarrassingly close to other tables. Getting around the buffet was very difficult due to the numbers of diners. Queues were long. The food was not replenished quickly enough. I waited 15 minutes for pasta and just 5 minutes for the prawns but the prawns were frozen solid and covered in ice. Shocking. The staff were very nice throughout the hotel but the catering staff at dinner were clearly stressed but still pleasant. They had far too much to do in far too little space. I would return to this hotel but only on a bed and breakfast basis to avoid the exceptionally busy dinner environment.

The hotel was perfect for us. Great location near shops and beach. The food was fabulous. Loved our Hawaiian massage from Anna and the poolside. Rooms had everything we needed and the most comfortable mattresses. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and staff very friendly.
