The Lince Nordeste

This was the third time visiting the Azores and this hotel has made our stay even more special. The room was large, with comfortable bed and a balcony with the most beautiful sea view overlooking the town. Waking up every morning with this view was so relaxing. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding. From the starters to the mains and deserts, we were delighted every single day. We specifically recommend the shrimp and the picado as starters, naco as main and delícia do nordeste as a dessert. We also used the spa which was very easy to book. The indoor swimming pool was beautiful with copper tiles, the water was warm and the sauna was easy to set up. The gardens are nicely maintained. We also celebrated New Year’s Eve party at the hotel. The dinner was excellent and the team had party items for the guests to use which was a nice surprise. The village fireworks were launched right from the road in front so we had the best view from our balcony! As the hotel is also so close to the village, we walked out to see the New Year concert and eat the largest cake which was free! The staff are so thoughtful and kind. Definitely recommend this hotel.

+ The hotel is placed at an amazing location with a beautiful view of the town and sea. The staff are polite and helpfull and there is a good breakfast included. - as a couple the bed was not good, its two single beds with a matress on top, but the matress is not thick enough so sleeping close to my partner i felt the middle crack between the beds all night which is very uncomfortable, note i am not a heavy person 70kg and still felt it. The beds also started moving apart abit as there was no clamps holding the beds together. The food in the resturant was abit of an disserpointment, i got the 25euro steak which in itself was a good piece of meat. but as i ate it i barely tasted anything but the garlic they used so way too much and ruined a good steak, it came with potato chips which were just potato chips which were pretty boring and wet from garlic/steak juices My girlfriend had the Tuna steak which also had garlic all over it overpowering the taste of the tuna which is a disserpointment as the fish taste should be the main focus in the dish not garlic.

The owners of this Hotel understand what a Hotel should be.Excellent beds , spotlesly clean rooms, bar, restaurant public area's etc. Friendly kind attentive staff . Room 202 was super. Good Breakfast and bar food . Thankyou.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in this hotel. It was so perfect. The room was beautiful and clean. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The spa service was over the top. Thank you Alexandria! The view from our room was breathtaking.

Saliento o bom serviço de todos os funcionários, realçando a Solange, Liliana e Inês. Quarto sempre impecável. Jardim do hotel muito bom e o hotel tem vários recantos que são propícios á leitura, convivência entre hóspedes. Em suma um hotel a recomendar.

Das Hotel entspricht absolut nicht den Standards eines 4 Sterne Hotels! Wir haben uns auf einen enstpannten Spa Urlaub gefreut, aber haben nur ein unschönes Erlebnis bekommen. Die Zimmer werden nur oberflächlich geputzt. Es sind überall Flecken im Teppichboden und auf der Wand. Das Bett is sehr ungemütlich (vermutlich sehr alte Matratze) und die Bettwäche roch muffig. Die Vorhängen rochen auch sehr nach Zigaretten als wären diese seit Jahren nicht mehr gewaschen worden. Die Klimaanlage funktionniert nicht richtig. Das einzige was sie tut ist einen grauenhaften Geruch im Zimmer verbreiten. Es gibg auch keinen Wasserkocher oder Kaffemaschine oder sonstige Extras im Zimmer (nur ein Stück Seide und zwei Pappbecher). Leider sind die Türen auch überhaupt nicht isoliert, wir konnten alles was in der Lobby passierte hören. Einzig positives am Zimmer ist die Aussicht. Unser eigentliches Highlight das Spa war leider auch eine Enttäuschung. Sie aus wie auf den Bildern aber ist dreckig. Um den Pool nutzen zu können muss man eine Badekappe tragen, die man dann in der Rezeption kaufen kann. Die Tücher muss man auch dort abholen (man kriegt beim Check-In einen Voucher). Bademäntel muss man auch mieten und bezahlen. Badeschlappen kriegt man keine, was dazu führt, dass Gäste mit normalen Schuhen im Spabereich rumlaufen, was den dreckigen Boden erklärt. Es lagen auch überall kleine Haufen mit Haare. Das kombiniert mir der sehr lauten Klimaanlage, den fleckigen Liegestühlen und dreckigen Fenstern hat leider nicht dazu eingeladen zu entspannen. Das Restaurant ist in Ordnung, aber definitiv nicht auf dem Level wie es in so einem Hotel sein sollte.
