しかし、ドアの建て付けが悪かったのが難点

We had 24 hours in NYC on a layover. 3 West Club was the perfect location to explore Midtown. Close to Top of the Rock and Central Park and more. Easily walkable and a fun spot.
The rooms were simple and very clean. Nothing fancy but perfect for what we were there for.

My husband and I stayed at 3 West Club for 2 nights midweek. The property is a classic, almost 100 years old. We felt comfortable right away, as the staff is very welcoming. We booked a king bed room, but there were none available, so a discount was given, which was nice. They have a bar & restaurant in house, but we prefer to go out in the city. Local finds...Toasties on 51st for an amazingly good and inexpensive breakfast, and Bill's Bar & Burger across the street has a good happy hour. Our queen bed room was a little small, but well-appointed and clean. We checked out the view from the solarium on the top floor...very nice and great view. We enjoyed our stay and would go back to 3 West when visiting NYC.

This is a nice, unique stay right next to 30 Rock. Easy entry via a spacious, clean lobby to the front desk, quick check-in. Room was small but nicely appointed. Bathroom was updated with a deep tub. A bit noisy with the typical NY street sounds and the bells from St. Patrick's so bring a white-noise machine. There is a bar and resturant on the 2nd floor and some great places to eat righ across the street. Teriffic bargan. I will be back.

When checking in the rude receptionist accused me of committing fraud because the security deposit didn't clear on my card. It turns out upon speaking to me bank (as she has frozen my card) she has repeatedly put in the wrong expiry date. As a result I had to use a non international bank card for the security deposit and incur travel fees.
The room had an adjoining door where the door was incredibly thin. We heard the neighbouring patrons open crisp packets and pass wind which was quite unnerving and led us to be mouse like and impacted our stay dramatically.
On the whole between the nonchalant staff and the terribly exposed room, this stay was not worth the money despite being in a good location.
