Club Wyndham Nashville

I have stayed at 14 different Club Wyndham properties from NY to Hawaii and by far this was the most disappointing of them all. The check-in process was fairly straight-forward beyond the usual wrist-band and owner materials. We were placed in Building 10 for a 1 bedroom unit. We walked into our unit and it felt as we were transported back to the 80s. 36 inch base cabinets that look as if they have been through war, cracked countertops, toilets that were not level and unable to flush. The room had a musty smell and the bed was softer than fresh snow. The exterior of the building seems to have been neglected for a considerable number of months where a power-wash could remove the layers of dried up dirt in and around the exterior staircases, hallways and building facade. From my brief conversations, I was told that they are in the progress of upgrading buildings and units but it was to little to late for our visit. I would strongly consider alternative lodging options unless you're able to confirm in advance that your building/unit has been upgraded.

In my opinion, management is incompetent and not helpful. While I stayed at Club Wyndham Nashville, the front end of my brand new SUV was damaged while parked in their parking lot. The incident was reported, pictures were taken by maintenance personnel, and I was told I would be contacted by an adjustor within 72 hours. I am certain that one of their club carts hit my vehicle because the damage matches the height of the metal back end on those carts . I reported that as well. Since that time, I have repeatedly called the general manager. It has been over 2 months, and nothing has been resolved.

Next to Opryland & 15 min. to most activities. Shuttle to downtown was nice - $15 per person. Check in is a nightmare. Once you get key, you must get armband. Can't get pass the door without being attacked by VERY aggressive sales people. You must say NO about 10 times and just walk away. After an 8 hr. drive, just wanted to unpack. Been a RCI member for 35+ yrs., was not interested in buying/selling. Get your key and find a back door to escape! Unit is VERY outdated. Very old appliances and decor. The 1 bdr. unit is very large. The bed was extremely comfortable. Once you get pass the staff, enjoy Nashville!

We had a one bedroom, and it was dreary, dark and old. You could see the filth in the corners of the floor, peeling paint, torn curtain. The smell of mildew struck you the minute you walked through the door. Couch was vinyl with stains. An old electric stove was the center piece. Outside, the doors and concrete were filthy. The amusing part was they wanted us to invest $45,000 in Wyndham with a $1,000.00 a year maintenance fee. The promised 1-1/2 hour sales presentation turned into 2-1/2 hours of sitting in a freezing room with loud music and 50 other people talking at the same time.

I had a delightful three night stay at this Club Wyndham in Nashville. I had not been to Nashville before, and crammed in as much as I could through three tours to view and learn about the city. This Club was conveniently located with friendly staff and a nice, clean condo. My two best friends loved it, too. Recommended: attraction: General Jackson River Paddle Boat Tour located not even a mile away!

No elevator in a 3 story building. Had to haul a week's worth of luggage and accessories up and down 3 flights of stairs. Very aggressive sales pitch from the check in staff. We had no intention to attend a presentation, but the guy convinced us that we could take just a few minutes to talk with the sales team about making it easier to exchange my time share. He bribed us with some free stuff. Turns out we were there almost 2 hours, and the sales people got annoyed that we were getting impatient and not buying in to their pitch, and didn't want to give us our promised gifts. I would never recommend any of my friends to stay there and be exposed to that type of treatment and lies. This was an RCI timeshare exchange. I very seldom am able to exchange for where I want to go, or when I want to go, and most often find that the facility is not up to the standards that the descriptions show.
