Evolve Back Kabini

Overall our 2 day stay was excellent. The property is situated in a beautiful location, the huts are luxurious and the staff are all very friendly and genuinely helpful. Roopa was our primary point of contact. She made the check-in process smooth and was always available when we needed her. Mr Deepak, helped us plan our day with activities and safaris during our stay. The food options are copious and inspired. We didn't eat the same thing twice. Mr. Prasad and the chef, Chandrashekar, worked with us each day to plan around my dietary restrictions, and the chef was more than accommodating and helpful. The naturalists are top notch. We've been on many safaris, and believe us that the quality of the driver matters! You'll have better chances to see more wildlife, especially rare finds, learn more about the area and the creatures that inhabit it, and have better angles / perspectives on the wildlife (for the photographers out there) than if you go with a run-of-the-mill government-provided driver. Safari quotas are very limited for private resorts, though, so be sure to book your safaris as soon as you reserve your stay. Thanks again, Srikanth and Vishnumurthy! For those who are not lucky enough to own farmland in the Kabini backwaters and otherwise have poor job prospects, are grateful for the opportunities they are given here. Mr Vivekanand learned English on the job and always greeted us with a big smile whether it be in the reading lounge or the dining room. He ensured we were taken care of at the moment. We did face some technical issues with their reservation system that failed to confirm our reservation and almost had us lose one day out of our reservation, requiring a lot of time and back-and-forth from us to resolve. In the end, however, they came through and kept us in a single hut for the entire duration of our reservation. We also reserved our safari on arrival, but didn't get confirmation that we could actually go on the Jeep safari 2 days later until the evening before (for an early morning safari). This resort is a great place to get away from the city hustle bustle and experience the Kabini backwaters. We look forward to another visit some time!

Had a great time at this resort! It's absolutely beautiful and the food is delicious. The staff there is incredibly helpful, especially Vivek. We had a guest with nut allergies and Vivek was very attentive and helped provide a clear list of what he could eat in the buffet. All around great experience!

Stay at Kabini was great, welcoming staff, food was very good.. thanks to Chandrashekar chef who made sure our meals are customised as per our needs and were made perfect as per our wants. Rupali at honeycomb restaurant made us comfortable and suggested new things to try and taste which we loved it. Best Jungle Safari at Nagarhole Tiger Reserve. Thanks to Vishnu Sir with his experience we were able to spot Tiger, Leopard, Mongoose, Samba, Deers, Kingfishers, Owl, Elephants, Wild Boars, Monkeys, Langoors.

Wonderful place and the staff is fabulous Anamika who was looking after us was very nice and knowledgeable whole staff was very friendly and helpful I would love to visit again in future the theme like African safari gave us wonderful experience

The goal of our visit was a tiger sighting. The Evolve Back Team made it effortless. They booked all of our jeep safaris and a driver to take us from Bangalore to the resort. Their fabulous team of naturalists and drivers had great instincts for spotting animals. Shaun, our naturalist and Lokesh, our driver, were a great team and on our first safari they found a tiger....and what a great encounter we had. By the end of our 6 safaris we saw most of the species native to the reserve, lots of migrating and resident birds and 6 separate leopard sightings. We felt so fortunate. The resort is first class and our only regret is that we didn't spend more time enjoying the amenities of our villa as we were busy on safaris. Our favorite restaurant was the Kuruba Grill - a multicourse dining experience with chef cooking live in front of the restaurant.

From the check in to check out all was seamlessly done . Food was good , service as very good . Staff was very courteous . Rooms were superb especially the washroom . It was well stocked with all basic toiletries . Felt at home with all that was provided. Anamika took special care to ensure we had no issues .
