Elphinstone Hotel

初めてのインドでの1泊目でしたが、ここに泊まって本当に良かったです。お値段がお手頃で設備やサービス面がとても良いです。充電用のコンセントは日本と同じAタイプが使用できます。シャワーとトイレの間には仕切りがありシャンプー等のアメニティも用意されています。暗証番号式の金庫もあります。朝食は曜日ごと日替わりのようです。 初めてインドやムンバイに行かれる方にぜひおすすめしたい宿です。

We chose this hotel so as to be close to the csmt railway station for an early departure. It is very conveniently situated for the station and the markets. It’s very easy to get a cab from outside and should charge around 60 rupees to go to the gateway of India if they have the meter on but we were continuously asked for 300 which we paid. Don’t be put off by the stairwell leading up to the hotel. It’s authentic and absolutely fine if you are laid back and don’t require a polished atmosphere all the time. Once in the hotel, you will find a warm welcome and clean and lovely atmosphere with a pleasant seating area. We had a small internal room which was very clean and had everything we needed, a good shower and hot water, clean bed linen and towels. Rooms are cleaned daily. I wish I had booked a larger room as they had windows but just a small detail. A tasty breakfast was cooked freshly every morning with a daily changing menu. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We visited hotel during January 2025 for Tata Mumbai Marathon. we are around 20+ runners booked rooms with hotel. Mr. Hemond (Manager) help a lot while doing booking. Also he make sure that we are on time and allotted rooms prior to visit to Hotel. Also he confirmed it on Whatsapp with room details. Rooms are small but cozy , comfortable and classy clean. Common area (Lobby) in front of rooms are really really nice, we had our high tea and discussed run strategy over there. Its good place to mingle as well. Location is good. Only thing night time has loud music and thats the thing is bit uncomfortable in the morning. Positively this music help us to wake up early morning. Room service is really good, counter guys and team extremely helpful and served nicely. Breakfast is complementary, in spite we are late hotel provided tasty breakfast on request. Thanks for the same. I will definitely going to visit again to this hotel for next Tata Mumbai Marathon.
