Elphinstone Hotel

初めてのインドでの1泊目でしたが、ここに泊まって本当に良かったです。お値段がお手頃で設備やサービス面がとても良いです。充電用のコンセントは日本と同じAタイプが使用できます。シャワーとトイレの間には仕切りがありシャンプー等のアメニティも用意されています。暗証番号式の金庫もあります。朝食は曜日ごと日替わりのようです。 初めてインドやムンバイに行かれる方にぜひおすすめしたい宿です。

Very neat and clean room with good amenities. Situated in an old building but when you enter the hotel on first floor it's very modern kind of atmosphere. Good breakfast. Considering the Mumbai lack of space resulting in small rooms, the hotel has tried to pack everything in the space available. Special shout out to Khushal Singh ji, who was very polite and helpful and made our stay very comfortable.

Good hotel, a limited breakfast but changes most days. Friendly and helpful staff. Had an hour long immigration queue which delayed our arrival time but our prearranged driver waited for us the entire time which we were grateful for after such a long flight. The entrance is a bit difficult to find in the dark, a gated stairwell hidden between shops, (no lift so be warned) but does open up just after one flight of stairs to the main lobby. Unlike other reviews who mentioned needing to show a wedding certificate, we had no issues there. They’re incredibly helpful and hardworking people even at 3am. We had the deluxe room, which was a bit small in our opinion with space for just two single beds either side of the bathroom door but to be fair we might have clicked on the wrong room choice. Despite it being literally 50cm away from the reception desk it was a good base to sleep after a day of exploring and our early train departure. Reception is 24/7 but not noisy, the only noise we heard were the cars honking, but as we discovered that’s just india.
