I was happily surprised with the place. Very affordable and close enough to town without the high price tag. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the premises clean and orderly. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

The property grounds are very nice with large shade trees and tables to enjoy. It does face a busy street and the rooms were a bit musty.

It was raining hard when we got there, and I checked in the office to let them know that we had arrived early and would go to get something to eat until check in time. Common courtesy would be to let me know if a room is available early so that we might get dried off and check in since there wasn’t much else we could do in the rain. I just didn’t get a nice warm welcome, it would have been nice. Checking out was the same. Property itself was nice, not as nice as it’s sister hotel, but nice and clean.

Perfect place to enjoy Ojai. We got upgraded to the King Deluxe Balcony Suite and it made the stay memorable. Highly recommend the hotel.

******* claimed the room I was booking was pet-friendly. When I arrived at the hotel, they refused to honor my reservation because the room I booked was not in fact, pet-friendly. This is ultimately Expedia's mistake, but neither the hotel nor ******* agreed to give me a refund.
Also, the person at the front desk of the Blue Iguana Inn was not only unhelpful but didn't seem to have a grasp of how their hotel worked, leaving us to find other accommodations on the fly.
I have been using ******* for years, but if they cannot see why I am entitled to this refund, due to their error, then I will not book with them again.
