Big bustling hotel in busy area of Miami. Parking is expensive, so figure in another $40-50 a day. Service was very good and views from our room were beautiful.

Overall it was a nice stay. The hotel location was amazing as we were there for a celebration on a boat that was departing from the Venetian marina. Stunning views from our room including seeing a manatee swim from our 27th floor window. The stores and restaurants on site and nearby walking distance were very good and gave us options without having to drive. The AC in our room was not cooling well, but it was not too bad that we had to report it. We opted to pay for self-parking at the hotel lot, and twice when we tried to leave the hotel by car, the automatic door would not open using our room key, so we had to press the machine button to call for help. One time I had to tell a Valet parking worker that my husband was stuck in the parking lot and no one was answering when he was pressing the button for help.

The view from the hotel room, walk along the Bay & ambience was great!! The shower we had on 28th floor did not work well. Secondly, there were a bunch of people in the dinning area who were very load & noisy. We couldn’t enjoy our dinner.

It was a nice clean place to stay with a small mall attached for shopping and eating. The biggest issue all people in our group had was the $500 a night room cost and we still had to pay for a breakfast AND Marriott provided no transportation to and from the airport. So stay here if you want to spend a ton of money and receive no amenities. The pool was even under repair during our stay, their peak season!

Arrived and manager took us to a separate desk for check in there was a long line. Our room with a Marina/water view was spectacular!! Ordered room service and the fish tacos were delicious!

Service and hospitality was great, some of the areas outside could have been less cluttered, cleaner.

WARNING!! Marriott charges a $35 credit for the resort fee, even when their pool isn’t open. As part of the resort fee, they offer a $35 credit at their Gold Coast Kitchen for each day of your stay. We were staying for two days, so that should have been two $35 credits. We called to confirm how we could use that credit. The representative told us that we could use it at two different visits on the same day, as long as we didn’t use it at the same visit. We attempted to use the first nights credit for breakfast and the second nights at the bar for a cocktail. We were not given the credit at our second visit and my credit card was charged for the full amount. I called and spoke with a manager, she said that the $35 credit could only be used per day and not the same day. She offered to refund my credit card for the full charge for being misled by the representative. The refund was NEVER issued. I called at least 10 times and no one answered the phone, I had to escalate this to corporate and still no refund. I called and spoke with another manager Alexandra, and she is not honoring what the first manager promised. I will not be receiving a refund. Be very careful trying to use that $35 credit, you could be charged for the very overpriced food at Gold Coast Kitchen as a result. As a Gold Elite member I am very disappointed in all the LIES we’ve been told and will NOT be returning.
