"We stayed at the hotel for several nights. We really enjoyed it: varied breakfasts, delicious coffee, a large selection of fruit, fresh yogurts—it was fantastic. The service was fast and efficient. Our room had an ocean view, a spacious balcony, and was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and crisp white linens. The hotel grounds were well-maintained, with lots of greenery, a pool, and fountains. Everything was wonderful. We also enjoyed the dinners, including seafood, baked goods, and ice cream. The hotel also offered a variety of activities, including a catamaran, SUPs, and snorkeling. Thank you, we'll definitely be back."

"The hardware of this hotel is ordinary, and it doesn't feel worth a thousand RMB. It is very close to the mall, with everything available next to it, and the surrounding roads are very good. You can see the sunset over the Indian Ocean. The picture is taken from my room window. But there are two points that I think are quite weird: 1. The bathroom is partially unobstructed glass design, and people outside can see the people showering inside through the glass. For me who is with a baby, I feel a little embarrassed, but couples can ignore it. 2. The toilet and bathroom lights cannot be turned off. You can only turn off the lights by pulling out the room card to turn off the power in the room. It is very transparent and you can't fall asleep without turning off the lights. Regarding these two points, I think there are bugs, and I think there should be a solution, so I called the reception twice to confirm, and the hotel replied that all rooms are the same for these two points, and it is not a problem with a single room. But the staff are really good. They helped us book a car and help me solve the problem. They are all very warm and friendly."

"This was our first time to Jalsa Beach but our second time to Mauritius and we had a fantastic time. I had read the reviews, both good and bad, before we booked and were unsure what to expect but our stay exceeded our expectations. It's a small hotel but this provided the intimacy to the place. It wasn't too long before you get know everyone and formed friendships and companionships. The hotel is remotely positioned, but we knew this before we booked, however there is a bus stop outside the main gates which will take you to the markets in Flaq and Goodlands. Check with the staff for market days. The buses have their own timetable. If you are adventurous book a trip or a car, they drive on the left. I don't normally mention the staff but on this occasion I make the exception as they were an integral part of our holiday. On arrival we went to the restaurant and as we entered were greeted by my name and room number. Within a short space of time all the staff knew us, greeting us with big, wide smiles and making sure we had the best time ever. In particulate Kushi, Shrishna, Manisha, Fourdoor, Katsia, our lovely cleaning lady, the animation team who work hard and not forgetting Vanessa, whom I am sure kept a watchful eye on our stay to make sure it was as wonderful as it could be and whom I am sure was responsible for putting us in a great seaview room. Regarding food and drink, it was plentiful, varied, well cooked flavoursome and suited our needs and will say no more as everyone has their own view on what they want or need. The view from the room and/or the beach is fantastic, as you look across the lagoon to the jungle, mountains, reef and more. We were made to feel special, had a relaxing time, enjoyed good company, enjoyed being in Mauritius. No complaints from me."
