Riad Al Mamoune

We were greeted by the owner Asad who immediately went out of his way to provide us with a warm welcome and explained everything about the beautiful Riad. It’s a real calm oasis in the hustle and bustle of the medina’s souks - the location is incredible - one of the most interesting parts of the medina, tucked away in a very peaceful and atmospheric part, but only a short walk from the square down various souks. Asad gave us plenty of tips on how not to get lost. The area feels very safe and all the locals were very friendly. The Riad itself is stunning, lots of original features, and our room was very cosy. We slept well each night, and awoke to a lovely breakfast on the really nice roof terrace. Abdul took great care of us, and taught us a lot about Morocco - he really is a fountain of knowledge and a very nice person. He even went out of his way to help us buy some pottery, and each day shared his tea with us. We really felt at home and we hope to return soon. If you are looking for a cosy, authentic Riad experience in a fantastic location with wonderful people, I highly recommend staying here!

I was lucky to find such a convenient and comfortable riad in the medina where the staff made me feel at home, the breakfasts were great and my fellow guests were friendly. Marrakech can be overwhelming, especially if you are on your own, but it is a safe and fascinating destination that I really enjoyed exploring!

This is a wonderful hotel/riad! It's location is convenient to everything you'd want to see in the old Medina. The riad is good value. However, what really sets this place apart is the service. Having the hotel's driver meet you at the airport (and return you there) is super easy--Abdul will meet you, and take you to the hotel and it is well worth it. Abdul, who works for the hotel is a fountain of information. He gave me easy to follow instructions and a quick tour for moving throughout the old Medina, and excellent restaurant recommendations--tasty tagine. The owner, Assad, gives helpful instructions for historic sites and exploring the markets. The riad itself is cozy and charming. No, it is not like a hotel built 5 years ago, and the imperfections give light to the riad's age, location, and history. The rooftop has amazing sunsets and is an excellent place for breakfast, or to come back and unwind after exploring the city. When I return to Marrakech to see more, I will definitely be staying again. Assad and Abdul truly care about their guests and work hard to make your stay memorable.

Asad and Abdul went ABOVE and BEYOND in accomodating us. They are very welcoming, friendly and gave us tips to navigate Always there to help. Breakfast was good. Location is walkable to attractions,, shopping, reataurants and beautiful gardens. The whole team of AL Riad Mamoune was AWESOME. We highly recommend this place.

Me (25) and my mom (60) went on a girls trip to Marrackech and wanted to stay in an riad inside the Medina. We've been to marrakech before, but this is whitout a doubt the best riad we've stayed in!!! The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, feeling like a family eventhough it was our first time. I am sure that we will stay there in all of our future trips !!

Great location and amazing staff. They took great care of use and were incredibly helpful! Right in the middle of the medina, access to everything easily.

Riad Al Mamoune is in a great location inside the souk and very near to Jemaa el Fna. Assad and Abdul were excellent hosts and the breakfast was excellent everyday.
