Casa de Maris Spa & Resort Hotel Adult Only 16 Plus

Nisan ayının ikinci yarısında otelde 3 günlük konaklama yaptık. Otel genel olarak yabancı, orta yaş ve üzeri turist ağırlıklıydı. Otelin konsepti herşey dahil şeklindeydi. Odamız ve otelin genel kullanım alanları ***et temizdi. Rahatsızlık yaşatabilecek birşey olmadı. Hatta kendi kendimize yaşattığımız talihsiz bir olay sonrası yatağımızın tüm örtüleri değiştirildi. Hijyen konusunda sorun yaşamadık. Yemekler genel manada iyiydi. Çeşit konusunda şu da olsaydı diyebileceğimiz birşey olmadı. Lezzet olarak da otel yemeklerine göre iyiydi. Havuzda ve lobide ayrı barlar vardı. Lobideki bar 24 saat açık. Barlardaki ürün çeşitliliği de bize göre makul ve yeterliydi. Chivas, jack, red label, smirnof, olmeca, yeni rakı, tekirdağ rakı gibi markaların başlangıç serilerinin hepsi vardı. Otel denize sıfır konumdaydı. Açık ve ısı**asız bir havuzu vardı. Havuz başında şezlong bulmak biraz zordu. Denize sıfır ve kendisine ait olan ve servis yapılan iskelesi vardı. Plajı dardı ve denizi biraz bataklık tarzındaydı. Denizini sevmedik. Çalışanların hepsi son derece özveriliydi. Animasyonda Hakan, Anastasya, Lira, restoran kısmında Bektaş şef, havuz barda Coşkun başta olmak üzere çalışanlar genel olarak hepsi işini en iyi şekilde yapmaya çalışıyorlardı. Bir dediğimiz iki edilmedi. Üzülerek döndük. Birdaha gi**ek isteyeceğimiz yerler arasında.

Casa de Maris is a fabulous 5 star hotel in Marmaris, Turkey. From the moment we arrived we were treated wonderfully by staff. The rooms are lush and the beds are super comfortable. The mini fridge was freshly stocked everyday. The food was varied and good quality. The hotel even has its own patisserie. The pool area was comfortable with cocktails being served all day. The hotel was spotlessly clean. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend the hotel.

I am not entirely sure how to write a review on this hotel. The hotel is generally ok, it’s certainly not not 5* as advertised (unless Turkey have lower standards) as it lacks certain important qualities and there are issues that I just don’t like and therefore I can’t give it more than 3 star review. The accommodation, staff, service and food in general are of good quality, the poached eggs at breakfast are wonderful. Our holiday didn’t begin with the greatest of starts though as a week before we travelled we were contacted by EasyJet to say the hotel that we had booked in Icmeler, months and months in advance, was closed for part of our stay due to a bank being built next door, we travelled 11-18 May and that hotel re-opened as it happens 15 May. This is our first ever visit to Turkey having holidayed mainly across most Greek islands, all of the canaries etc. We were moved to this hotel in Marmaris. We had no choice as EasyJet were completely inflexible, it was either go or lose all of the money we had paid. On looking at the hotel online, including Facebook posts of the hotel before we left, I was extremely apprehensive as all the videos people posted were of drunk people dancing by the pool, not the kind of adult only experience we were expecting. Even at the airport we got chatting to a couple behind us in the queue for the plane and they said Marmaris is the Blackpool of Turkey, which just filled us with dread. Upon arrival into Marmaris, this is exactly what we found, Blackpool (or even Benidorm) on steroid. We checked into the hotel, we were pleased to find our room spacious and comfortable, so no complaint there at all. It was now later into the afternoon so we ventured to the pool for a drink and something to eat, we thought we had the wrong hotel, the pool area is literally like something from an 18-30s holiday. It is absolutely packed, not a single sunbed fee to be seen, music is blaring from massive speakers on a big black hideous stage that looks like it’s been leftover from when this was a family hotel. The whole thing is not fitting for a supposedly 5* adult only hotel and it needs taking down and the area used for extra sunbeds with more spacing between them. As a non smoker who cannot abide anyone smoking anywhere near me, the thought of sitting on any one of those sunbeds, where you are almost sat on the person next to you, there is zero personal space, is simply not happening. Almost everyone is smoking cigarette after cigarette and you can’t get away from the smell and toxic fumes. This is also true if you sit anywhere inside as the whole building is surrounded by smoking areas, so even if you sit in the bar area or the patisserie, you inhale lungfuls of smoke that billow in through the open doors. So we thought we’d go the the pier instead for some peace and quiet, the pier is supposed to be non smoking too so we thought it would be a better location, which is certainly is and the views of the bay and mountains

Second time at the hotel. Again such a great time. The food is amazing. The drinks are amazing. The staff are amazing. The jetty is amazing. The rooms are amazing. Already looking at a third visit for July. The hotel is only a 10 minute bus ride from town and only cost 80p! I cannot fault this hotel for anything apart from hardly any cats this year, I was told a hotel guest moaned so they had to take them else where. So missing the cats haha. Keep up the good work to all the waiters.

Hakan is very helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need for a good holiday! The whole team are happy to help, there is plenty to do from water polo to aqua aerobics⚽️ food is also very good as you have main restaurant and snack bar with burgers pizzas and kebabs!

We had a great time at this lovely hotel. I cannot think of anything negative to say. The rooms are modern and spotless, all the staff are friendly and work tirelessly, the food has great choices with meat and fish dishes lunch and dinner. I especially enjoyed the beautifully presented individual mezes. The hotel has a private beach area with sunbeds and a lifeguard who is so friendly and helpful drinks are served there as well. We were fortunate to be there for the Gala night to celebrate the anniversary of the hotel opening. the organising must have taken weeks, and a massive 6-7 hour undertaking for the hardworking staff to clear sunbeds away and set up the hotel and extend the stage area. What a brilliant night, the entertainment was by a group called Apocalypse, absolutely amazing, great singers, great musicians and great dancers they were phenomenal. We will definately be returning asap.

After spending a great 10 days at Casa De Maris it’s time to leave. The hotel is decorated in a modern design. The room was large with a walk in shower. Beds comfortable Situated about 30m from the private beach. As well as the beach there is a jetty with sun beds also. Ahmed keeps you refreshed with drinks all day on your Sun bed. The bar staff are marvellous. Concocting cocktails from scratch, non of the bottled made up ones you sometimes get. The drinks are Premium brands also. You even a mini bar in your room which is replenished every day with water soft drinks and a couple of beers. Entertainments team work hard to make your holiday, especially Anastasia and Lera who we spoke to a lot. The shows are from professional international acts. There’s a Patisserie which is open from 10 to 6 with a fine collection of cakes and pastries. This was usually manned by Lily. We walked to Icmeler and Marmaris town twice in our stay both along the lovely boardwalk. Returning by Dolmus(local bus) 30 lira (75p) very frequent. Overall a brilliant holiday at a brilliant hotel

Hakan was great and helpful. We played darts and enjoyed the Columbian dancers the best. Hakan helped everyday with entertainment and got everyone involved. We will be back again. Food changes daily and you can always find something to eat. The Ala carte restaurants are a must and very good experience. Private beach with drinks provided. Very good all inclusive experience.
