El Cosmico

El Cosmico was a WONDERFUL retreat way out west!! The atmosphere- rustic and peaceful, the amenities- relaxing and fun, the gift shop- unique! Close to shopping and food in town, great photo opportunities! I would highly, HIGHLY recommend the Dutch tub! It was such a special experience looking up at the stars while in a warm tub! The staff are so nice and helpful, and the lodging and restrooms are clean and tidy! I will definitely be returning!

Our trailer was clean, comfortable, and well air conditioned. Staff was kind and had lots of great recommendations for food and activities. We’ve done the renovated camper/glamping experience other places but El Cosmico does it best. We’ll back again soon!

Cool place with lots of lodging alternatives and really cool vibe. Teepee, yurts, tents, vintage trailers, great staff.

The vibe here is like no other. It is relaxing, peaceful, with a bohemian feel. The accommodations and super cool, the Dutch tub was awesome, and the staff were as friendly and welcoming as they come. The property manager Kris is the best. You get so much more than you pay for. If you want a non hotel experience, this is your place! They have a new customer for life.

Please people read ALL reviews before you waste your money! I did not read enough reviews before I booked the extra large trailer. Got the biggest trailer thinking it would be just so worth it! WRONG! The Imperial mansion as it’s called with the big hole at the front door. The door closes and locks but to keep bugs & cold air out you must use their blanket to seal the door. The door frame is in dire need of repair & maintenance. Does NOT seal flush at closing. Trailer #12. You can’t tell me the crew never noticed this!!!! We stayed for 3 nights which was a big mistake after convincing my husband this would be such a cool experience! The shower is a very slow sparse trickle of water. 1 towel per person for 3 days? Come on really? I wasn’t expecting the Ritz Carlton but I suggest the owner take some of these reviews to heart. You talk about your pride of this business etc when you respond to negative reviews from 2021, here it is 2024 and trailer # 12 needs love & repair! Yes you got my money & I got the experience!

El Cosmico is a special place. Loved the coziness of the trailer. The trailer was beautifully decorated/restored. Great outdoor shower at our own terrace. Campground toilets and showers very clean. The staff is very nice except one girl who worked the last day at the reception. I do not think she liked her job because there was nothing friendly about her and she did look unhappy. Boutique at the campground sells beautiful clothes/things but very expensive. Al little bit too expensive I think. Also, I paid more than 300 $ per night but there was no housekeeping to make up your bed in the morning or clean the trailer. This was because they had not enough staff but I did not get a discount either. So I did feel ripped off. And having the toilet next to our bed totally kills the mood...

-place is not nice, condition of facilities are poor, Would sleep in my car instead of staying here again. Dusty, dirty campsite, dirty fridges and grill. over-priced beverages in main lodge and WIFI slower than AOL dialup only really accessible from inside main lodge

I was looking forward to spending the night here in a vintage trailer but the overall experience was disappointing. At arrival the staff was not friendly or helpful. The vintage trailer and open shower were an experience by itself but not worth de 300$ for one night and you still had to pay for drinks. Bringing your own drinks was not allowed. There seemed to be no other guest during my stay here and there was nothing to do or see at the propertie El Cosmico. I think it might be a better experience during the spring / summertime, but in september there were no other guests. I am sorry but I was not impressed, and not worth the money I paid.
