Manchester West Didsbury

We booked 3 rooms for a Saturday here as we were visiting family in Chorlton. We arrived just after 11 and asked if we could have an early check in. The young girl on Reception was friendly, smiley and helpful and checked if a room was ready. It was an extra £15 per room for early check in and she suggested just checking into one room to save us £30 and offered to store the luggage for the other 2 rooms. After catching up with our family we returned and had a couple of drinks in the bar, again the staff were friendly and polite. We had a great nights sleep as we always do in a PI and the shower was fantastic. The room had all we needed and a little bonus was a little tin of cookies with a note, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was great, nobody rushed us and there was a great selection of food as always. We would definitely recommend staying here and we will return on our next visit up North to see the family!

As always a good value stay. We chose to stay here the night before a flight from Manchester Airport in bad weather. Room was looking a little tired but met our needs. Ate on site, food was as expected, plenty of choice at breakfast but cooked items could have been hotter.

Just a great hotel for anyone needing a room for a night or two that has a desk / table on which to use a laptop and / or write information, and with a comfortable bed this Premier Inn is just the ticket. I have stayed here for 4 times in 2024 and the one thing I will single out is the front of house staff who always have a smile or a hello. It's a little gesture I know, but I've always found this to be a warm welcome.

Fantastic experience. Staff very friendly. Hotel comfortable. A little noise from the room above but otherwise great. Ate in the dining room. Breakfast was fabulous. Full breakfast. Lots of choice & all hot. Excellent position for getting into Manchester.

Clean, warm, staff were really helpful. Shame the restaurant was closed for most of our stay (the website when booking said breakfast would be in a different room but this turned out not to be the case). The breakfast when we got it was really good. Special mention to Paulina who really helped us when we needed a late check out. Thanks so much Paulina, you are a star.

Terrible experience at this premier inn, arrived to find the room hadn’t been cleaned properly, we booked 3 room and out the 3 rooms 2 were still dirty. All 3 rooms had hair on the sheets and pillows. We complained to staff and were told unfortunately they were fully booked and couldn’t move us rooms. One room that was very bad they offered to change the sheets. We were also travelling with kids and decided to book in for the breakfast as had a long day ahead of us. In the mornings we were in and out the room but as we were leaving to go for the breakfast staff then decided to advise us that the breakfast had been cancelled that morning. That felt like the last straw as we were left with hungry kids and told that if you want breakfast there is another restaurant 10 miles up the road. Will not be staying at this premier inn again.
