The place was very convenient and highly accessible to Senado Square. There’s a nearby 24/7 convenience store and the place is surrounded by plenty of food options. The place was clean, and everything worked perfectly during my stay.
I arrived close to midnight, and while the staff when I checked-in was a local with limited English, I was still able to go through the check-in procedure smoothly. The staffs were friendly and accommodating, especially the morning shift, which was a fellow Filipino so it was easier to ask for some recommendations around the area.
Overall, I highly recommend this place! For directions, simply search Naughty Nuri on Google Maps. The alley on the left side will lead you to the accommodation.

The place was on an street away from the noisy establishments. For the information of future guests, the reception is on the 4th floor. The receptionist couldn't speak evwn a little english so prepare ypur foogle translation if you wanna aak assistance or queries. She was very nice, though. Room was clean.

The best hotel we’ve been so far. It took me 2 days to decide to book this for our family trip and not a single complaint from any of my family members. Location is near Senados Square and many food to eat around. They have onsite cafe but I hope it opens earlier than 10 am because who drinks coffee at 10am? They have a self serve area on the second floor where you can do your laundry, iron clothes, exercise, eat or reheat good, refill water for free. The staffs are welcoming though English is always a challenge but they can do basic English.- better to have translator app like google translate. We enjoyed our stay and the best part is the overlooking window where we watched fireworks during CNY.

I wish I could've stayed here my entire time in Macau. The rooms are not the biggest but the new design (finished in 2024) is brilliant and makes you feel connected to what came before. The hotel dates back to 1928 and was the original ”President” and was central to the rise of Macau ****** culture, being a focal point of the fantan monopoly. There's an extraordinary neighborhood around it, which reminded my partner of Southern China and Hong Kong of the past. You can eat and drink in street food stalls, restaurants, and coffee shops that are much more than a hundred years old and original. I was inspired by the story of the man who renovated the place and the area, how he grew up here, led the investors, designers, and restoration team throughout COVID and finally they all completed the place. Well worth the trip and I would go again.
The PENSÃO ELEGANTE (BARRA) provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Macau will find that the PENSÃO ELEGANTE (BARRA) is a fantastic accommodation choice. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling alone.

I was pleasantly surprised by the experience, especially considering the price point. Here's a breakdown:
Pros:
- **Room Size**: Much more spacious compared to most hotels in Hong Kong, which was a big relief.
- **Comfort**: The bed is on the firm side, but the pillows are incredibly soft, and the duvet felt new and fluffy, making for a comfortable sleep.
- **Air Conditioning**: Worked perfectly, keeping the room cool and pleasant.
- **Amenities**: The room was well-equipped with a toothbrush, comb, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, a water heater, a small wardrobe, a table and chair, and a hair dryer.
- **Location**: Very close to a bus stop, making it easy to get around. Also, there are plenty of food options nearby, including convenient stores and non-halal food stalls (for those interested) .
Cons:
- **Toilet Size**: The toilet is quite small, designed for an average Asian build. If you’re taller or of European size, it might be a bit cramped—you may even need to bend your knees in certain positions.
### Additional Notes for Muslim Travelers:
If you're looking for halal food, I highly recommend visiting **Indonesia Warong Amar Berkah**, a bus ride with fewer stops and few meters from the station you'll find the shop snuggle between pastry shops. The food there is delicious and a must-try, worth the price!
Overall, **Pensão Elegante** offers great value for its price, with a strategic location and good amenities. Just be prepared for the small toilet and firm bed! Would definitely stay here again for a budget-friendly trip.
The PENSÃO CARMEN provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The PENSÃO CARMEN is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Macau. Macau International Airport is located approximately 9km away from this hotel. The closest major public transportation, Barra Metro Station, is only 2km away. There's plenty to do nearby, with Travessa da Paixao, Travessa do Armazem Velho and Na Tcha Temple all within a short distance. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling alone.

Hotel stay was comfortable, just that I overlooked the fact that it was a smoking hotel. As all rooms are on the same level, you could smell smoke coming from the corridor and neighbouring rooms. Im really uncomfortable staying in a smoking hotel. Though the room was quite pretty and comfortable, I'm really uncomfortable staying at a smoke filled place.

This was a very nice stay away from main Casino district (Taipa) in Macau, and we (as a family) loved it. Let me give you few bullets
1. After booking, I send email to hotel, but there was no reply for 48 hours.
2. when enquired through Trip.com, though the booking was with Club Millesime, the first answer was no access to Longue. When enquired again, Longue access was confirmed (sound like they obliged).
3. Reaching Hotel by taxi (from HZMB port) is appx 30 minutes taxi ride (120 HKD) - on reaching hotel, we found they have bus from the port every 30 minuets - details missing on their website.
4. Check-in experience was good, no delay, no unnecessary question.
5. Pleasent surprise was level of English-speaking staff at hotel. we always found someone to talk to and find required information.
6. Club Millesime (Longue - L17) available for food three times a day - Afternoon High tea, Late evening Happy Hours and morning Breakfast. Though the food options are limited (specially for Vegetarian people), we found the place enjoyable.
7. We explored the old city (opposite to hotel) in afternoon, and it was wonderful experience. we went to Fort and Wall and possibly best narrow streets in the world.
8. Rooms were good, comfortable sleep, nice TV options (TV speakers were bad while watching movie).
9. Sofitel is working hard on Environmental stuff, you can see it everywhere in room. No water bottle, no plastic, no loose item for tooth paste, lotion, shampoo, comb etc.
10. Morning breakfast (at L6) was good, good spread and many items were fresh. During holiday period, you may need to way for some time. There were a few vegetarian options for breakfast.
11. Checkout process was very easy.
12. I couldn't experience fitness center, swimming pool and restaurant due to other priorities.
check few photos (room details for more information.

We love this hotel because of its location, it’s an approx. 5 to10 mins walkable distance to Lisboa Hotel and Senado Square. And we have a surprise upgraded to a room that overlooks the Macao Tower. Hotel is new, the room itself is spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff are good, especially Miguel at the front desk was very helpful, his warm welcome and sincere friendliness set the tone for our stay, resolves questions regarding transportation to HZMB and other parts of Macau, which is truly commendable. There are a few restaurants, department store and a cinema, inside the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely go back when we return to Macau.

BBaba láWe expected a true five-star experience, but this hotel barely reaches a 3.5 or 4-star level in terms of service and facilities.
We requested a high-floor, non-smoking room and were even upgraded to a suite. However, the hallways and air conditioning carried a strong cigarette smell. Unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring issue in hotels with frequent Chinese guests.
Breakfast was another major letdown. If you book a room with breakfast included through Trip, you’ll be dining at The Market Bistro, but don’t expect a buffet. Instead, you get a limited choice between a Western or Chinese set menu. For a supposed five-star hotel, the quality is extremely poor—terrible coffee, packaged toast, greasy and fried food, and no fresh fruit or natural juice. The “pastry selection” consists of one processed croissant, two slices of toast, and a Danish.
The hotel is also overcrowded, with the reception and rooms located far apart, requiring long walks each time you go back and forth.
For just 300 - 400 Mops more, you could stay at The St. Regis or another luxury hotel (low season) that offers far better value for money. Don’t be misled by Trip reviews—this hotel does not live up to the five-star rating it claims.
DDenne GohMy stay at Studio City Hotel, Macau was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was smooth and enjoyable—truly some of the best service I’ve experienced!
The hotel itself is stunning, with a luxurious and modern design that creates an exciting yet comfortable atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring Macau.
The facilities were top-tier, with fantastic dining options, entertainment, and even a resort-style pool. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to access major attractions and casinos.
Overall, Studio City Hotel delivers a world-class experience with outstanding service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Macau! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
GGuest UserYou can forget about early checkin. Could only preregister strictly after 1230pm and had to come back for room key collection from 3pm onwards. The hotel requires 1000HKD for room deposit. We requested for twin beds but was informed there would be additional charges unlike other establishments who not only accommodated to our requests but they also did their best to make our stay memorable. Honestly we expected better service for the price paid. Wouldn’t consider staying here again when we could get better service elsewhere.
BBertonCheungThe spacious room and the spectacular view is the only highlight in my opinion. Maybe my expectation is a bit high after staying with Andaz, which provided an excellent and all-rounded experience. For example, we have made an earlier request for late check out when doing the check in, but get rejected by the check-in staff. They didn't consider your membership status nor the birthday. Please don't expect any perks or rewards. The room was not ready when we were there. So we stored our luggage at the front desk. When we came back, the stored luggage was not directly sent to your room. You needed to reclaim your stuff at the concierge. I was a bit disappointed. The location is not prime and at the far corner of the whole district. Staying here with the gold elite status and on your birthday will not bring you anything extra, even though you have made remarks earlier. Definitely, not the first pick in Macau.
SSara ArdeliaWe loved our extraordinarily large room with separate living and bedroom and the lovely scent. Despite its quite minimum lighting, overall we enjoyed our experiences along with its l’occitane amenities. Some people complain about its location being too far from most other sites with limited shuttle options, but we found it quite convenient after knowing that we managed to use Grand Lisboa Palace shuttle services. The shopping mall connected to the hotel was also a reliable option. Our room came with an afternoon tea set which was great though the service could have been better about the tea and drink included.
AAnonymous UserBecause it is new, it is basically very clean, but the price is relatively high at 540rmb. Basically, it is recommended to add 100 to this price and choose Lisboa, which is more convenient, unless you are willing to take the bus here with your luggage. There are many strange things about the room design. It's quite strange to see slippers on the bed when you enter the room. The bathtub curtain doesn't seem to be waterproof. You need to take the electric kettle to another place to boil water. The TV remote control cannot be turned on because it is not set up properly. It doesn’t matter if the mobile phone has a remote control app that can turn on the TV. The hot and sour rice noodles nearby are pretty good. If you like the taste of chopped peppers, you can order medium spicy.
TThe HotelierMy recent stay at the YOHO Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Macau was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in the vibrant heart of the city, this stylish hotel perfectly blends modern aesthetics with a rich cinematic history, offering a unique escape for both relaxation and exploration.
Upon arrival, I was instantly captivated by the hotel's sleek design and welcoming ambiance. The lobby, adorned with Hollywood memorabilia, set the stage for a delightful experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff greeted me with genuine warmth, making me feel like a valued guest from the get-go.
I stayed in a spacious and beautifully decorated room that exuded comfort and elegance. The plush bed was a dream to sink into after a day of exploring Macau's attractions. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as high-quality toiletries and a coffee machine, that added to the overall experience. The large windows offered stunning views of the city, especially mesmerizing at night when the skyline lit up.
One of the standout features of the YOHO Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is its outstanding dining options. I had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant, where I savored exquisite local dishes made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was chic and vibrant, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
The hotel’s location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions like the historic city center and luxurious casinos. After a day of sightseeing, the rooftop pool provided a relaxing oasis to unwind and soak in the scenic views.
Overall, my experience at YOHO Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel was exceptional. The combination of its stylish decor, attentive service, delectable dining, and prime location makes it a top choice for any traveler visiting Macau. I left feeling refreshed and inspired, already planning my next visit!
GGuest UserThis room provides a comfortable and functional stay for solo travelers. While space is somewhat limited, the room is well-equipped with a working desk and a television offering a variety of channels. A standout feature was the bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Macau. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby dining options, a train station, and a bus stop, making travel around the area simple and efficient. Overall, a good choice for solo travelers seeking a convenient and comfortable base for their Macau trip.
WWongAshleyMy family and I had a wonderful stay! When we first arrived at the entrance of the hotel, we were assisted by the bellhop, Mark Spencer, who was very nice and helpful during our arrival and leaving the hotel. And everything else that came after did not disappoint, the room was beautiful, the breakfast was nice. Would definitely come back again! 👍🏽
