Como Cocoa Island - Partner Travels Free for 7 Nights or More

A very large menu, a large selection of dishes, good and healthy breakfasts, very pleasant service, everyone is always smiling, but in general: being in this hotel, you feel in complete privacy, I do not recommend it with children, the best place for a honeymoon, stunning underwater world at your feet. Excellent design of houses, everything is very thought out for guests!

I would like to thank to the whole team of Como Cocoa for making our stay unforgettable! Absolutely no words, we had amazing holiday with the best service ever! The food, the atmosphere, the people there and everything make u feel like u r in paradise. We were very sad to leave!

Without a doubt the best hotel I have ever stayed in !!! The rooms are spotless with amazing views. The food is Michelin star level (being full board is a no brainer) The snorkelling is phenomenal and super convenient..just jump of your terrace and 5 minutes later you are already surrounded by beautiful coral and fishes (including baby sharks) Also had an opportunity to take a kite lesson with Youri Zoon on the sand bank ..what an experience !!! So overall WOW, WOW, WOW One small comment: keep refilling the minibar and the cookies on the date of departure It is a small gesture to departing clients at low cost for the hotel

A second visit to this beautiful place since 2012, and our 9th time to the Maldives after visiting some really nice resorts. Still, Cocoa Island has our heart - it was this place that made us fall in love with this beautiful place on earth 12 years ago. A very peaceful place to fully relax, lovely rooms (we stayed at the loft villa), and the Como Shambhala has remained our favourite spa of all times - Chandra and Tari were two very kind and amazing ladies who took care of us throughout our stay. Restaurant - the breakfast buffet options were a lot less than other resorts we’ve been to - but it offers healthy options which is enough. Dinner menu slightly varies each night, all very beautifully and thoughtfully designed dishes. Whilst I cannot fault the service at staff (meeting expectations), the experience we had with the staff during our last visit and at Como Maalifushi were so much more passionate, personal, enthusiastic - that was absolutely another level. Lastly - slightly disappointed upon checkout, we were given departure forms of another two guests (with their passport details), which I would’ve expected extra due care when handling personal information by the front desk. Relative to other experiences - it felt like once you’ve checked out and settled the bill their job is done - we had 3 people waving us and other guests off, when other resorts had a full crew sending a warm farewell. Having said - this is the first time we’ve been to the Maldives during low season so things are cut back.

An amazing place to stay! The staff were very lovely and made conversation with all the guests. The marine life around the island was beautiful and the food was delicious. The shambala area provided the perfect place to relax at the spa along with use of the hydro pool and yoga classes.

It was the second visit in 3 years to Cocoa Island and upon arrival we were told with a smile that not much on the island had changed. It was exactly what we wanted to hear. I hope it never changes as it was another incredible stay. It's a very easy trip from Male in the speedboat which is a big plus if you're travelled far to get to the Maldives. We stayed in a Dhoni Loft Water villa this time and loved the design of the villas. They have everything you need and real character compared to some of the identikit villas you can find on other islands. It's hard to imagine a more beautiful island itself whether you're walking out to the sandbank, sitting on the sand by the pool, or snorkelling at the house reefs seeing an incredible array of marine life including turtles, sharks and rays. We did a sunset dolphin tour as well which was a real highlight. The food was once again superb. A real highlight last time and again this time. It was great to see Anura and Fanny again who provide such warm friendly service, and Ravi who makes incredible cocktails. It was also really nice to see Wisam each evening at dinner chatting to guests and making everyone feel so welcome. We hope to be back again very soon.

I have always frequent Como dining places cos I love the food, ambience, and the serving crew. But, the team in Como Cocoa escalated my opinion in Como brand. The resort is quiet and beautiful. The team member in the resort made my experience a very very beautiful, pleasant one. Shout out to Wisam who is the GM. He is always there to say hello and very attentive.

Easy speedboat transfer from the airport though a bit scary on the way back as the weather was stormy. All villas are off the same gangplank with all amenities on the island. Stayed in a Dhoni water villa which was great and well equiped though the wifi was not great at times. You get three complimentary soft drinks and jars of snacks a day. Annoyingly as said before, the water that is free in the rooms you are charged for in the restaurant. Snorkelling was good from the villas with lots of fish though the coral die-off is clear and seemingly attempts to regenerate it are not going well. A couple of complimentary snorkel trips on the reef with staff are mainly for beginners . All trips off the island need to be paid for - the reef snorkelling trip was worth it. Most of the paths on the island are sand which goes with the general vibe of the island. Food is good. The breakfast is a mixture of self service and ordered food which doesn't change much. Evening meals have more variety but again some options appear every day. Drinks are expensive especially when you add on the extra taxes. The cocktail list is extensive. We did the sandbank dining experience which was nice though I am not sure it is worth the extra The gym is good though the ventilation is inadequate and our attempts across the week to sort it didn't work. Classes are aimed more at the improver/expert end rather than beginner. Staff are always friendly and helpful. A big shout out to the island doctor who sorted me out when I ran out of my medication and was a delight to chat to. This is a low key quiet relaxing resort which for most of the time had no children which was wonderful. They arrived as Easter approached which changed the vibe of the place.

It was the best vacation of my life. I want to visit again. The food was really delicious and I was able to observe various marine life such as turtles, rays, and octopuses while snorkeling.
