Sunrise Suites

Lokasi Hotel tidak terlalu sentral, namun masih tidak terlalu jauh dari hiruk pikuk kota (20 menit dengan bus) dan stasiun kereta/bus pusat (10-15 menit berjalan kaki). Layanannya fantastis dan mereka membersihkan kamar dan memasang seprai dan handuk baru setiap hari! Kamar mandinya besar dan sulit, jadi siapkan garam mandi untuk bersantai setelah hari-hari turis yang panjang. ☺️

離京都的市中心有一定距離。雖然附近交通挺方便的，但是京都的公交車還是挺貴的，要做好規劃。附近可以吃飯的地方不多。房間裏的大浴缸非常推薦！

Kami benar-benar senang menginap di Sunrise Suites! Ini adalah hotel yang indah dan kecil tepat di pinggir jalan utama, yang membuatnya sangat mudah dicapai dengan berjalan kaki ke berbagai jenis transportasi. Staf yang fantastis--sangat ramah, sangat membantu, dan membuat pengalaman menginap jauh lebih baik! Satu-satunya alasan kami memberi tempat ini peringkat keseluruhan 4/5 adalah karena 2 alasan: 1. Sarapan setiap pagi datang kepada kami dengan dingin. Itu selalu tepat waktu dan secara keseluruhan variasinya bagus--akan lebih baik hangat! 2. Kamar memiliki aroma aneh yang tampaknya berasal dari kombinasi mesin cuci/pengering. Memang benar, hanya memiliki kombinasi mesin cuci/pengering di kamar sudah cukup untuk mengabaikannya. Namun jika hal itu diperbaiki, tempat ini akan menjadi lebih baik dari sebelumnya!

Cute spacious room, sliding doors, kitchen and washing machine in room. Zen-like decor and friendly staff. Just a few minutes walk from Tōji station, convenience store next door and Toji Temple directly across the street.

Wonderful hotel, giving a relaxing feel inside the city. Very nice traditional Japanese breakfast box. Although a bit away from the main sights, it is conveniently located on some bus lines, so in the end easy to reach all the places we wanted to visit. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay and would go back when in Kyoto

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our holiday to Japan, regrettably, we couldn't extend due to the nature/locations of our trip - if possible we would have stayed longer. Check-In and features: Check-In was a stress-free experience, we arrived at the hotel later in the night after stopping in Kyoto to view some of the amazing gardens on display, on arrival the staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had; they explained the nature of the hotel and its perks such as a top floor view of the To-ji Gojunoto Five Storey Pagoda across the street (we recommend seeing this at night for a great sight), a koi pond next to the entrance outside, and a garden in the middle of the lobby area as well as much more features that made this place different from anywhere else we've ever stopped! The staff also spoke great English which made us feel comfortable as our Japanese if still in learning. The Room: I was really impressed with everything the room had to offer - first of all you are given an actual key to enter the room which makes a nice change from most other places offering a keycard. On entering the room; everything was neat and in order, we were given: A comfy bed kitchen area with cooking utensils (on use were great) Table and two chairs to eat meals at Personal washing/drying machine A relaxing bathroom Service room with free amenities such as toothbrushes and a hairbrush A TV with language-specific channels (made us feel more at home) Sliding window blinds (in a traditional Japanese style) Many more features! This hotel brought my dream of stopping at a traditional-style Japanese accommodation to life in every way. Another thing I would like to mention is the breakfast; you are able to choose what time you would like breakfast and are offered a set menu from which to select. I tried the beef breakfast and was very satisfied with the meal. I was more so impressed with the hotel staff who brought it to us, on noticing I was English, the staff member provided me with a sheet of English literature regarding the local gardens with help and recommendations for us, on top of this the member of staff was incredibly respectful and took the time to speak to me about our holiday and events happening back in the UK. (I didn't get the name of this staff member but I can't begin to describe the positive impact he made on our stay) Location: We were more than happy with the location of this stay, all-purpose shops nearby as well as entertainment shops made sure we had anything we wanted/needed - we also took in a lot of culture in and around the hotel which made our stay more authentic. I could not think of anything that this place could improve on - and when we eventually return given the chance, we hope to find Sunrise Suites the same! Thank you for making our journey in Kyoto one of the best experiences we will ever have.

An excellent and relaxing place to have as a base for exploring Kyoto. The staff was very helpful with us as non-Japanese speaking tourists. I highly recommended.

This is an excellent place to stay near Kyoto. It's right across from the Toji temple and about 15 min walk from Kyoto station. Our room was decorated in a modern interpretation of Japanese style with elegant features and a lot of beautiful wood. Kitchen and bathroom had full set of amenities, including a stove top, refrigerator and a washer/dryer. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast options were delicious.

Loved it! Didn't want to leave! big room fantastic environment good blend of traditional with modern amenities. Free bento breakfast if you stay more than one night. Everything about this hotel is pleasing to the eye beautiful place to stay.
