On the banks of the Mekong River Baima B&B

Spent two nights here to explore the night markets. It's very close and doesn't take long to walk. They can even provide an umbrella for those rainy summer days. The bath on the balcony is pretty big and even though has an open space, you can still pull the curtain for some privacy. It's a good place to stay for a few nights in banna.

Perfect location and friendly staff. The room was huge and had a wonderful balcony with chairs and bath tub looking over the river. The view was great. Room also included a fridge and stove top if you stay longer. Location was perfect for exploring the town and night market. Just a few minutes walk to the night market entrance and tons of other shops and restaurants. Staff was friendly, always greeting you when you arrive and also offered airport pickup, answered questions about activities to do, and helped me arrange a car to go to the botanical gardens. If you are very sensitive to noise you can hear the night market, but the door blocked enough sound and I had no trouble sleeping. Very happy with the stay and felt so relaxed.

The room was very clean, everything worked and the view from the balcony and windows were incredible. The bathtub on the balcony was nice. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The view was what I was paying for though and it was definitely worth it.

Our stay at the Xishuangbanna Maiba hotel was really pleasant and really helped to make our time in the city memorable. The view from the windows and balcony were excellent both during the day and at night. The room was spacious, comfortable and provided benefits such as a washing machine, kitchen, two bathrooms, dining table and two TVs with an account set up to watch a wide variety of content. Apart from all of this, something that really stood out for us staying here was the helpfulness, generosity and professionalism of the staff. Well worth the cost of staying here.

This place was a real delight! The hotel occupies the whole of 9th floor of one of the taller buildings in Gaozhuang. When stepping out of the elevator you are in a large space which is the reception area where there always seems to be at least one, if not more, friendly and helpful members of staff to check you in / out or to provide you with advice on where nearby to go for lunch etc. The rooms are all self contained apar**ents. We had a double bedroom, a well appointed living room and kitchen, two full bathrooms, a washing machine with laundry detergent provided gratis and a balcony with a wonderful view of the night market. Ohh and the balcony has a bathtub on it in case you want to have a soak outside….Not a word of English was spoken here, but they were extremely excited to have a foreign guest, so if you can’t speak Chinese I’m sure you will get a very warm welcome from the staff who will go out of their way to make you feel at ease.

The BaiMa (White Horse) Hotel is on the 9th floor of a beautifully designed building. It has a tea drinking area at the elevators. The whole hotel, including in the rooms, has pictures of what I think is an expedition race the owner took part in -- but it's not overdone. The location is perfect, right on the center west of the new north-side of downtown JingHong (main tourist area). Right beside the night market. Delicious food found at the restaurants nearby. Corner store (with decent wine) downstairs. Motorcycle and scooter rental down the street in front of the hotel. The best views of the Mekong! The room was big, spacious, and pos**odern (contemporary) in decor -- very comfortable and still having personality, not just a "white room" as so many hotels are styling themselves as, these days. There is even a small fridge and a full-sized washing machine! The bathtub on the balcony was very romantic. The cost was worth it, compared to more expensive rooms in other hotels. The staff was beyond helpful, first by allowing me to choose which room I would have, and second, by helping me order flowers and food to my room. They even brought us free chopped fruit. They had cleaned my room during the day when I went out, even changing the bedsheets when they noticed the sheets were dirty.... +++ The only negatives I can think of is that the AC does not make the room cold enough for a spoiled Westerner like me (but most people won't have a problem with that), and the tub on the balcony is still missing it's fixtures. Oh, and the pictures of the racers above the bed was a bit strange. Of course, I wish it was cheaper, but actually the price is probably fair considering the cost of other hotels and how well done this hotel is. Overall, a beautiful and excellent hotel, and I highly recommend it.

真的要吹爆這家酒店，位置實在是太好了，地處告莊中心位置，樓下就是星光夜市入口，旁邊餐館、水果店、便利店、小吃店、麪包房應有盡有。酒店佈置很漂亮，房間很大很乾凈，外面還有個大陽台，有冰箱洗衣機吊扇，電視機和吹風機都是小米的，床墊是乳膠的被子是鵝絨的，空調超強勁。洗浴產品都是惠潤的，洗手液是藍月亮的，還有洗衣液和消毒水是威露士的，廁所還備了馬桶套，瓶裝礦泉水無限量免費，家裡長者對房間非常滿意，每晚不到300的價格實在是太超值了。老闆娘人也很好，給我們推薦了附近好吃的地方，推薦樓下的杭州小籠包店的煎包、雞湯米線和幹拌米幹。喜歡吃炒菜的推薦去橄欖果餐吧，我們在他家吃了兩頓，點的所有菜都好好吃，米飯也很好。一定要避坑酒店對面的川小子川菜館，劇難吃。還有婉泰和囉囉冰屋，除了冰激凌還可以，其他真的一般般。

每次來版納都要入住酒店，告莊最好的觀景位置，連版納當地朋友來找我看了房間都很贊歎，白象沙灘，星光夜市，湄公河，足不出户盡收眼底，日出日落也是無人頭與你爭的獨享其中，服務依然如沐春風，温暖周到，床品特別舒適，房間和床品有陽光的味道，老闆的好茶也是頂尖的
