Beautiful property, nice rooms. Service was disappointing/unresponsive. Room was very hot, no climate control.

This is a set of beautiful buildings, and wonderful gardens set in a quiet location. If you want to get away from it all, sit on the lawns sipping a glass of wine in the sunshine, then this is the place. It's close to the N174 but no noise. It has pretty walks, and what looks like a new function room being built. The welcome was friendly and helpful. These are the good points. It seems the spending priority has been on these lovely features. As a hotel, it was disappointing. The decor is 'old French' but very dated, the wifi didn't work (two options and neither worked), the TV signal was fuzzy, there was no stand-up shower, the curtains didn't pass my husband's 'blackout' test, and the drinks options didn't pass my 'decaff' test, even on request. I am sure it looks lovely on the pictures online, and if you have booked it it's not that bad, but we have stayed in too many hotels that have managed to create wonderful living spaces from old buildings to recommend this one. There is no restaurant so we went to St Lo, a 5-10minute drive away and there are some places by the river.

Loved our evening at this stunning property! Majestic entrance that is even better in the evening with soft lights. Every turn fills your eye with beauty and appreciation for the history and people who maintain this property for others to enjoy.

Très beau site calme et accueil cordial mais nous avions un bon cadeau pour une chambre Deluxe et avons eu une confort (spécifié sur site) mais pas mentionné sur le bon cadeau qui est bien chambre deluxe , ni que ça soit expliqué par le propriétaire. On aurait souhaité qu'on nous propose un choix entre une chambre Deluxe ou confort n'ayant toutes deux pas le même charme, une chambre Deluxe respecte plus le cadre château que confort ... Chambre néanmoins propre et au calme avec douche et WC. Aucune explication sur la vie du château ni des prestations possibles gratuites ou payantes.(piscine,spa ..) Pas d empathie de savoir si le séjour s'est bien passé..., si on est satisfait, c'est un peu dommage. Et au moment de rendre les clefs... On nous demande de régler une taxe de séjour ... 1€/ personne ... Dérisoire certes mais ça devrait être inclus au séjour . Les petits déjeuners sont copieux dans une très belle salle avec feu de cheminée Le prix 180€ pour une nuit avec petits déjeuners restent tout de même un peu excessif pour la prestation proposée. Bilan plutôt mitigé.

Ambiance familiale. Mais sans wifi, climatisation ni restaurant pour un séjour au calme Châtelaine aussi simple que sympathique Petit déjeuner dans le bâtiment annexe NB : mon GPS a eu des difficultés à trouver. Il est plus facile de passer par la 2X2 voies Stationnement facile. Avec les gravillons faire un dépose-minute

Joli demeure de schiste du 18eme, bien au calme, le charme désuet des vieilles bâtisses. L'hôtesse est très sympas et tente de répondre à toutes les demandes de ses clients avec sourire et efficacité.
Annonce dit : animaux acceptés, mais appeler avant votre venue pour confirmation de cette info.
Wifi / réseau aléatoire car une bonne déconnexion peut aussi faire partie du bien être de ce lieu discret et confortable.

Belle habitation historique ,très bien rénovée au sein d’un joli parc. Beaucoup de charme. Chambre spacieuse , confortable et claire. Très bien située Excellent petit déjeuner. Accueil de qualité Nous recommandons Nous reviendrons quand nous passerons à saint Lo.

Je me suis blessée en sortant de leur SPA, aucune empathie de la part des gérant la seule qui les intéressait était que je m'en aille afin que les autres clients arrêtent de me demander ce qui m'était arrivé
