The general manager tried to be nice, so that was the positive however there were unclean beds with hair, nail clippings and dirty cup marks on the tables. It was a disgusting experience

Room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Fresh coffee and fresh items for breakfast. I was impressed considering how affordable the room was.

Decent place for an overnight - clean rooms and comfortable beds. Dining options are super close by and an easy walk. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast options were excellent. The gentleman working the desk was like a mother hen, checking to make sure we had everything and running to get whatever we needed. Very friendly.

First time staying in an Econo lodge. Check in was smooth and the room was as pictured and clean. There are just minor cosmetic things but I would stay there again.

So after the unpleasant stay at Baymont Hotel in Haubstadt, IN, this Econo Lodge feels like an excellent stay. Excellent service from the guy at the front desk at early 6-7am breakfast time.
Nice location, easy entrance and parking, more breakfast items than Baymont at the same time period of 6-7am. The room is standard and clean, but the AC is more quiet than Baymont's.

My wife and I decided to stay at this hotel and what a mistake that was. This hotel is not American owned so you have all the typical issues that you would associate with that type of management. If you prepay for a room be prepared to pay separately for a cleaning fee when you check in and be prepared to give a $50 cash security payment also. We checked in at 2 AM after a hunting gig and were told We could check out at 12 but at 10:30 AM the phone rang and you guessed it...the new guy at the desk wouldn't approve it. I found 2 roaches in the bathroom and the towels were filthy. Choose another hotel.
